The OG season has returned to Fortnite Battle Royale once again, bringing back the nostalgic weapons of our childhood. However, not all of them are suitable for combat, so I will rank the best five weapons to use in Fortnite OG Reload.

5. Rocket Launcher
It’s no secret that Rocket Launcher is an explosive weapon, which means you can definitely use it to take out structures, especially if you’re a fan of the construction mode. As the name suggests, the launcher fires a rocket when fired, which causes a large amount of damage once it hits the target.
However, it’s worth noting that Rocket Launcher is a relatively slow weapon, so I highly recommend avoiding it during close combat. Other than that, finding the Rocket ammo is not a piece of cake, so use the ammo wisely.
4. OG Heavy Shotgun
Shotguns are tailor-made for close combat and the Heavy Shotgun is no different. However, unlike other shotguns, it is a semi-automatic weapon that deals high damage with slow firepower. While it can fire multiple bullets continuously, I suggest firing a single bullet for increased effectiveness at longer ranges than typical shotguns.
3. Heavy Assault Rifle
The Heavy Assault Rifle is by far the best AR that you can use in Fortnite OG Reload to take on your enemies from all sides. The weapon is part of the floor loot, meaning you can find it on the ground, in chests, or even in supply drops.
However, when using a Heavy Assault Rifle, try to avoid using it during close combat and use it more during medium and long range combat due to its slow firing rate. In addition to that, it is worth noting that the weapon has a very large projectile spread when firing at full auto.
2. Tactical Machine Gun
While SMGs are usually not my choice in Fortnite battle royale, the Tactical Machine Gun proves to be very effective on the OG Reload map. Its performance shines in close encounters, especially in popular locations like Tilted Towers where long-range weapons are less effective. The gun’s low TTK ensures that opponents have minimal time to counterattack.
1. Bolt Action Sniper Rifle
The Bolt Action Sniper excels in both Zero Build and Build modes. Its built-in scope significantly improves accuracy, making it ideal for long-range combat. However, be aware of the considerable bullet drop before pulling the trigger, as failure to do so can result in missed shots despite perfect aim.
