6 Best Content Warning Tips and Tricks

It's time to shoot scary content and get a lot of subscribers to stay alive. Check out the best Content Warning tips and tricks to run as long as possible in the game.

Top 6 Tips and Tricks for Content Warning

1. Play with friends

You can play alone, especially since the camera has a selfie mode. However, you'll be missing out on great content, like your friend getting jump-scared by a Snail-man and then killed. More people also means more chances that at least one of you will survive and bring the footage back to the surface. This is very important on your last day because you want to reach the goal of Views and survive longer.

2. Sacrifice for the views

If you're struggling for views and the deadline is approaching, then it might be time to do something drastic, like sacrifice yourself or your teammate. This is another good reason why you should play with friends. You have to do anything for the views, and there is nothing more interesting than being attacked. If you can't find a monster anywhere, which happened to me, lasers also make good content.

3. Recharge your equipment

I forgot to recharge my flashlight quite a few times and ended up having to wade through the Old World in the dark. The jumpscares are even worse when you can't even see where they're coming from; you only hear the audio cue. Some monsters also avoid light, which is where a full battery will come in handy.

Recharge stations can be found at several locations in the upper world; all you have to do is approach them and turn on your item. You'll know it's charging by little sparks, but you can also check the battery status in the top right corner of your screen.

4. Learn the map layouts

I have explored several maps in Content Warning so far. Every three days, if you manage to reach your Vid goals, you will reach the next map. All maps have different layouts along with multiple starting points. It's important to remember your starting point so you can get to the ship quickly, especially if you're low on health or low on oxygen. You'll easily get used to the first map since you'll be playing it the most, but you should also try to learn the others quickly.

5. Pay attention to your surroundings

It's like I didn't learn anything from Lethal Company, but you can learn from my mistakes. You have to pay close attention to your surroundings, especially the ceiling. Patrick Star's monster hangs in wait on the ceiling, waiting for you to pass under it so it can grab and kill you. There are other monsters lurking in corners of the factory and even outside, so you should always be on high alert. Don't get too distracted while filming.

6. Buy upgrades from the shop

You won't get a lot of money at first, and you may have to pay some medical bills along the way, but it's definitely worth shopping at the store. Emotes are quite important as they will bring you more views. It's also very hilarious when you dance in front of a monster that comes to kill you. Other upgrades like the Hugger or the Shock Stick are very useful for keeping your teammates alive and keeping the enemies at bay.
