Final Fantasy XVI The Rising Tide introduced newer and better accessories for Clive to craft. The only catch is that they require material that can only be found in Mysidium—and in fixed quantities to begin with. This is where you can find Aquamarines in FF16.
Final Fantasy 16: Where to find Aquamarines in Mysidia
Aquamarine only appears on the Mysidia map after you've completed the What Ails You side quest in Haven. The Blacksmith will reward you with a stone that can detect Aquamarine across the map. You should hear a drop of water sound when you're close, but these things grow pretty bright, too.
Aquamarine's locations differ based on difficulty. I found that harder difficulties, like Final Fantasy and Action mode, had more Aquamarines located inside monster bellies. This means you have to defeat a lot of bad guys to get them.
Here are all the Aquamarine locations I found in Final Fantasy 16. This is an ongoing list!
Near Haven, South
Exit Haven and move to the nearby river bank.

Tailwind Bay
Depending on your current difficulty, Tailwind Bay may host an Aquamarine or two. Get close to the Little Archelons and listen to your water drop SFX. If you hear it, or “Did you hear that?” by Clive, then that's your cue to cut his belly up for the coveted gem.
Father's Fell
Aquamarine can be found in one of the forks around Father's Fell.
The Sunken Ruins
Behind or near a set of hard crabs, you'll find an Aquamarine buried in shallow water.
