All Destiny 2: The Final Form Exotic Class Item Vocations

The Final Form is here, and that means even more looting and shooting. Lots of new baddies to turn into guns out there, but with the release of The Final Form, we also have some new fancy little buns to wear.

Unfortunately, these trinkets will not be available to us until after the end of the First Race of the World (June 11th), and after the end of post-raid activity. The Exotic class items that come with The Final Form stand game changers for Destiny’s meta in both PVE, and PVP, so let’s take a look at why that is with this handy list of all exotic class item perks.

All Exotic Class Item Perks

The favorite child, the Hunter. There isn’t a world where some of these combinations don’t make them even more powerful in terms of raw damage and mob clear, but we can at least hope that there are new ways to do it. Vermhusk and Coyote along with the right build sounds like it could lead to some kind of horrible new plague of invincible Hunters, but we can at least pray that doesn’t happen.

Spirit of The Assassin Finishers and electric melee finishing blows grant invisibility. Spirit of The Intimate Light Using a skill empowers the other two skills by giving them improved energy regeneration.
Spirit of The Ophidian Weapons ready very quickly. Spirit of The Dragon Using your class ability recharges all weapons and increases weapon handling speed for a short time.
Spirit of Galanor Hits and final hits with your Super will return Super energy after it ends. Spirit of The Foetracer Damaging a powerful fighter or Ranger with an ability gives you a temporary damage bonus for weapons matching the element of that ability.
Spirit of Caliban Powered melee final blows trigger a power-up. Spirit of Renewal Allies within the Duskfield take reduced damage, and targets within the area deal reduced damage.
Spirit of The Star Eater While your Super energy is full, taking an Orb of Power overloads your Super, giving it bonus damage. Spirit of The Synthoceps Improved melee damage when surrounded.
Spirit of Truthfulness Final hits from a weapon with a damage type matching your grenade grant a stacking grenade damage bonus. Spirit of The Cyrtarachne Get Woven Mail when you use your grenade.
Spirit of The Gyrfalcon Your Void weapons gain Volatile Rounds after you come out of being invisible. Spirit of The Liar Taking damage with a powered melee or being hit by a melee attack will allow you to follow up with an extremely powerful melee counterpunch.
Spirit of The Wormhusk Evasion gives a small health and shield. Spirit of The Coyote Gain an additional class ability.

Titan Exotic Class Item Perks

Ah Titans, the middle child that Bungie doesn’t really like. Will a combination of these advantages finally give them something to do besides drop an empty bubble at the end of Spire? I hope so, because they really deserve it. A mix of Frost and Horn sounds like it could lead to some really interesting elemental effects plays, but we’ll have to see.

Spirit of The Assassin Finishers and electric melee finishing blows grant invisibility. Spirit of The Intimate Light Using a skill empowers the other two skills by giving them improved energy regeneration.

Wizard Exotic Class Item Perks

And Wizards, my favorite. Will any of these be enough to pull me out of my Getaway Artist/Riskrunner build? I highly doubt it since I REALLY like Sentient Arc Souls (because I can’t aim), but we’ll soon see. I’m especially excited to try out Synthoceps and Apotheosis with Chain Lightning’s arc melee, as there’s bound to be some nasty scavenging potential in that combo.

Spirit of The Assassin Finishers and electric melee finishing blows grant invisibility. Spirit of The Intimate Light Using a skill empowers the other two skills by giving them improved energy regeneration.
Spirit of The Ophidian Weapons ready very quickly. Spirit of The Deer Your Rift provides damage reduction to allied Guardians standing within it.
Spirit of The Filaments Throwing an empowering rift will give you Devour. Spirit of The Necrotic Damaging fighters with your melee poisons them. Defeating a poisoned enemy spreads the condition.
Spirit of Osmiomancy Your grenades recharge faster on hits. The seeker spawned by Coldsnap grenades travels further. Spirit of Apotheosis Temporarily gain greatly increased melee and grenade regen after your Super runs out.

Spirit of The Swarm Destroying a Tangle spawns Threadlings. Spirit of The Claw Get an extra melee charge.

How Do Exotic Class Items Work?

Exotic Class items are new armors that take your class item (Bonds for Wizards, Marks for Titans and Cloaks for Hunters) that will allow you to have the main benefits of two pieces of Exotic armor immediately. And not only this, but since each piece is rolled randomly, this makes it possible for the first time in Destiny history for exotic armor perks from other classes to be used by everyone. Whether this is valid or not any bonus, or simply those with crossover (of which, there are 6 among all Exotic Class Items) are still seen; but I for one would love to see a Titan with the double melee of the Claws of Ahamkara.

And that’s all the perks confirmed to be coming with the new Exotic Class items in Destiny 2: The Final Form. I can’t wait to see the absolutely badass builds that come from some of these, and look forward to avoiding Trials like the plague for the foreseeable future!
