All Field Upgrades and Equipment in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies brings back the beloved turn-based gameplay with many returning and new features. In addition to your primary and secondary weapons, field upgrades and equipment are also important parts of your loadout.

All Field Updates in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Each player can carry a specialized tool called a field upgrade, which recharges over time by killing zombies and can be used when available for a powerful attack against the enemy. Here are all the field upgrades available in BO6 Zombies:

  • Ethereal Shroud: Phase into the Dark Aether and become hidden from the enemy for a short time.
  • Mad Guardian: Repair armor instantly and force all nearby enemies to attack you. During this time, each kill repairs part of your armor.
  • Healing Aura: Instantly revive downed teammates and heal everyone including yourself to full health.
  • Energy Mine: A mine that detonates periodically causing lethal damage around you.
  • Dark Flare: A beam that can penetrate through everything and deals lethal shadow damage.

The first four field updates have been in Call of Duty Zombies for a long time. While Healing Aura is the best support tool and at least one squad member should have it, Energy Mine is an amazing defensive item. I’m excited to use the new Dark Flare as it can prove extremely useful in situations where you’re outnumbered. Black Ops 6 Zombies has the new Augment feature that you can equip during your field upgrade to make them even more powerful. In addition, you can now exchange field upgrades at any time during the match from the menu.

Tactical and lethal equipment can be equipped in your loadout and brought into the match from the start. You can also craft new equipment at the Crafting Table during a match via Salvage dropped by zombies you’ve killed.

All Tactics in Black Ops 6 Zombies

  • Concussion: Slow down the enemy’s movement.
  • Stim Shot: Heal yourself and refresh tactical sprint.
  • smoke: Deploy a smoke screen.
  • Bait Grenada: Attract zombies for a short time.
  • Shock Load: a projectile that sticks to surfaces and stuns enemies.
  • Cymbal Monkey: Attract zombies for a short duration before detonation.
  • LT53 Casimir: Creates a black hole that pulls in and kills enemies.

Out of all these items, I will use Decoy Grenade, Cymbal Monkey and LT53 Kazimir. These tactics are the most effective when fighting zombies. While throwing a Decoy Grenade can pull the enemies away from you, using Cymbal Monkey and LT53 Kazimir will eliminate them completely.

All Dead in Black Ops 6 Zombies

  • Frag: A fragmented pomegranate that can be cooked.
  • sticky: A timed grenade that sticks to surfaces.
  • Molotov: A firearm that explodes on impact leaving a flame residue.
  • C4: A sticky explosive that can be detonated at a distance.
  • Battle Axe: A throwable ax that can one-hit kill enemies.
  • Effective Garnet: A grenade that explodes on impact.
  • Thermogrenade: This grenade creates a flaming cloud that ignites and explodes after a while.
  • Explosive Trap: A plantable device that detonates when enemies are in close proximity.

Undead can all be useful, but the ones that stand out here are Sticky Grenade, Combat Ax and Impact Grenade. I’ll lean more towards the Battle Ax if it happens to be a retrievable item.

All Support Equipment in Black Ops 6 Zombies

  • Self-Revival: Revive yourself when knocked down.
  • ARC-XD: An RC car that explodes to emit small Aether blasts.
  • Sentry Turret: An automated turret that searches for and shoots down nearby threats.
  • Mutant Injection: Transform yourself into a Mangler for a short time.

You can coordinate with your teammates to carry different devices because everything can be useful. A self-revival kit is a must for all players unless someone has the Healing Aura field upgrade.
