All Natlan Local Legends locations and Achievements in Genshin Impact
Natlan is home to 10 exciting Local Legends that are more difficult than any of the real bosses in the region. Defeating them will reward you with Duelist Achievements: Series I. If you’re looking to flex your overpowered teams, here’s where you can find all the Local Legends in Natlan.
Where to find all Natlan Local Legends in Genshin Impact
He Never Dies
Go to the pond east of the Ancient Temple via the northern Teleport Waypoint. Touch the special obsidian totem to enter the Night World and challenge the capybara. Completing the challenge while not getting hit by his Ultimate Technique will earn you the Achievement “He Never Dies.”
Polychrome Tri-Stars
The next Local Legend is located west of the pond in Huitztli Hill. Refer to the circled area above for its exact location. You will face three strong Fatui Agents that make up the Polychrome Tri-Stars.
Their Elemental Weaknesses are Pyro, Electro, and Cryo, so make sure to have shield breakers that react with these three Elements. Defeating all three will reward you with the Achievement called “Polychrome Tri-Stars”.
Sappho Between the Waves
The Local Legend, Sappho Between the Waves, is located in a clearing in Tepeacac Rise, marked in the image above. Sappho is not hostile by nature and does not want to fight, so you must attack her first using any Normal Attack to trigger the battle. Defeating her will reward you with the Achievement called “Sappho Among the Waves.”
Balachko
Go to the area circled in the image above, which is a small cave directly in front of the Rainbow Spirit Domain Shrine. Enter the locked gate by providing x2 Key to Somewhere to the mechanism in front of it. Once inside, follow the red trail to summon the Local Legend, Balachko.
During the battle, the enemy can summon fake versions of their body. If you manage to defeat only his original body, you will be rewarded with the “Balachko” Achievement.
Cocijo
Go to the area circled above in Ameyalco Waters to find a large clearing. Destroy all the Electric Crystals circling the clearing using Pyro to summon the Local Legend. I strongly recommend having a strong shield when attempting this battle. Defeating it will reward you with an Achievement called “Cocijo”.
The Shadow of Chimalli
Go to the area circled above, northwest of the Ancient Temple. You will find an obsidian totem that you must interact with to enter the Night World. Once inside, approach the Local Legend to start the challenge, which favors you having a Pyro applicator on the team. Defeat it to receive the Achievement called “Chimalli’s Shade.”
Cihacoatl of Chimera Bone
Go to the mountain peak circled above, located between the Knowledge of the Canopy and Teticpc Peak. Interact with the obsidian totem to enter the Night World and begin the battle against the Local Legend.
I recommend using a ranged character, such as a bow or catalyst user, who can deal Charged Elemental Damage that reacts with Dendro. Defeating the enemy will reward you with the Achievement called “Cihacoatl of Chimera Bone.”
Tlatzacuilotl
Go to the edge of the western cliff in Sulfurous Veins via the nearby Teleport Waypoint. Look down to find a rocky path. Slide down and go straight until you find a Tepetlisauri digging at a dead end. Don’t attack it—you must use it to transform into the Tepetlisauri to complete a challenge.
While transformed into Tepetlisauri, attack the glowing red rock to start the challenge.
Next, use Tepetlisauri’s Elemental Ability to go underground, then head in the direction of the two cracks marked by arrows above. Attack the lower one first, then attack the upper one. Another rock will appear; attack it too.
The last two rocks will appear on the wall. The Tepetlisauri’s ability can go through walls, so use it to reach the rocks and attack them to complete the challenge.
After completing the challenge, a cave will open below. Enter the cave to find an obsidian totem that you must interact with to enter the Night World and fight the Local Legend. Defeating it will reward you with the Achievement, “Tlatzacuilotl.”
The blessing of Atlatl
The Blessing of Atlatl is located in the magma-filled underground area in Coatepec Mountain. If you’re not sure how to get there, follow the steps below.
To get to the area, start by going to the cliff rounded above in Tepeacac Rise. You can easily get there from the Blazing Ruins Domain. The cliff overlooks a cave that you must slide into. Refer to the area the arrow points to for the exact location of the cave.
Once in the cave, continue straight ahead until you reach the end of the wooden bridge. Slide down to another cave entrance to find an area filled with magma.
The magma will drain your HP quickly, so transform into Tepetlisauri and use its ability to go through the wall on the right. The Tepetlisauri will also die when attacked by the magma.
Follow the path forward traveling through the wall on the right as Tepetlisauri. You will eventually find the black totem pictured above, which you must interact with to start the challenge against the Local Legend.
The battle is a challenge-based instance where you have to defeat the enemy using parries. Defeating it will reward you with the Achievement called “The Blessing of Atlatl.”
The Aegis of Ichcahuipilli
To find the Aegis of Ichcahuipilli, you must solve a puzzle with the help of a Yumkasauri transformation. Start by going to the area circled above in Huitztli Hill, where you will find a giant tree structure. You need to climb to the top
Once you’re at the top, you’ll find an opening leading to the inside of the tree. Jump down to enter a small room.
Inside, look out for the small object on the makeshift rock table. Interact with it to remove Grappling Hook. After removing it, climb the tree house to get out.
Outside, return to the side of the tree house blocked by a stone crate. Interact with it to install Grappling Hook.
There are a ton of Yumkasauri in the area, so live with one of them to transform into one. then, use the Elemental Ability button on the grappling hook to pull the box forward. Doing this will cause a small trail of dust to come out and make a nearby stone glow.
Later, exactly in front of the treehouseyou will find a rock full of crystals. Switch to any Geo character or Claymore user then break all the crystals summon a glowing spot on the ground.
The glowing point will appear in front of the rock, near the Saurian warriors. Interact with it to trigger another glowing dot to appear nearby. Interact with it as well to prompt another trail of dust to illuminate another stone.
Finally, transform back into Yumkasauri, then go to shallow water where the Capybaras rest nearby. Use your Elemental Skill to pull the red stone that the arrow points up. Doing so will trigger the last trail of dust to illuminate the third stone.
When all three stones have been lit, the rock in the center of the clearing will break, revealing a Luxury Chest and an obsidian totem. Interact with the totem to enter the Night World and face the Local Legend. Defeating it will reward you with the Achievement called “The Aegis of Ichcahuipilli.”
