To start the list, we have the entity Giggle. It is a star-shaped salmon/grey colored monster with a big smile on its face that usually hangs on top of the roof. Compared to other creatures, they are somewhat passive and only cling to the player’s face when they walk under them, dealing 40 damage before falling off automatically. If you manage to locate Giggle early enough, you can always throw a Glowstick at it to bring it down.

Gloombats

Similar to Giggle, the Gloombats are another commonly found creature in the mine level. You can quickly identify the creature by its moth-like appearance and bright yellow eyes. Speaking of its behavior, the creature will first attack all your light sources and then target you, dealing 10 damage by attack So, whenever you are near any Gloombat, please turn off your light source and get away from that area as soon as possible to counter it. Alternatively, you can also switch to using a Gloomstick or Laser Pointer, as it doesn’t trigger/enrage it.

Gloombat Eggs/Moth Eggs

Indicative of its name, they are nothing but unhatched Gloombats in the game. You can find several of these eggs lying around in very dark rooms. They don’t pose any danger unless you step on them, causing some of them to immediately hatch and attack you as an adult Gloombat. So, please stay away from these eggs to avoid the threat.

Grumble

Grumble is a giant and highly lethal version of the Giggle unit in the game that can literally kill you in two to three hits. You will first encounter the creature in Door 150 inside the nest as you try to find your way out of the area. The best way to fight this monster is to distract by using Bulb light or throwing Glowstick placing/throwing said items into corridors or other intersections. Another way is to hide in narrow alleys, because the Grumpy can’t enter such spaces due to its huge size. Crucifixes can also be helpful as they can temporarily lock down the creature while you reposition yourself to a safer location.

Hide (Reworked)

Hide has been slightly reworked in the current level of Mines. Now, he will force you to play the heart mini-game if you hide in a closet for a long time. If you lose the game twice, you will be kicked out of the locker, dealing 40 damageand can’t re-enter it for a while.

Search (Changed Version)

Similar to the first part, the Seek creature also returns to the Mine level as the final monster in Door 200. This time, he takes the form of a giant, slimy, black blob-like monster with several eyes around it instead of the usual human form. Although he looks deadly, he doesn’t pose much of a threat and only has two attack forms: random melee attacks and laser-tipped melee attacks. To avoid the laser attacks, simply move away from the laser pointer, and for the random attacks, stay from the edges of the central sewer area. Use these strategies to avoid his attacks while turning on all the valves (end game puzzle) to clear him and end the game.
