How to Find All NPCs in Dig It Roblox
Nookville NPC Locations
Benson, Ironyard Owner
This is the first NPC you meet on the beach, standing behind the table. He helps you get through the tutorial and gives you free gifts.
Roderick, Merchant
This NPC can be seen on the beach in a small wooden hut, buying all the items you find. You can either sell him all of your inventory or one item at a time while holding it in your hands.
Milton, Blacksmith
Milton stands behind the anvil in the yard behind Roderick. He doesn’t sell anything but provides short witty conversations if you want to laugh.
Cooper, Pit Enthusiast
Cooper sleeps by the Loot Pit near Milton. He simply tells you that you can value your items by throwing them into the Loot Pit for a small fee, enhancing them with a random modifier.
Agent Baldo, Secret Agent
You can see Baldon standing to the left of Roderick’s shop next to a bright green Biodegradable shovel. Baldo will give you this shovel for free if you join the game’s community and like the game on Roblox.
Balwin, Magnet Dealer
This sleeping NPC can be found south of Agent Baldo, at the edge of the beach, surrounded by magnet boxes. Balwin is a merchant that sells magnets that help you find better items while digging.
Ronald, Banker
Ronald sleeps on the part of the beach with a large bank safe directly behind Benson. He gives you information about the possibility of keeping your valuables in the bank. There you can also buy such valuable items as backpacks.
Margot, Archaeologist
One of the most useful NPCs stands right between Balwin and the bank merchant on the beach. Margot will give you many repeatable quests that are easy to do and will reward you well for completing them.
Hoover, Ship Merchant
When you reach Level 5, you can buy your first boat to travel between the islands. The NPC that sells boats is Hoover, who can be found on the pier directly behind Margot.
Scrubbucket, Pirate
Although this NPC is located in Nookville, on the beach between Margot and Ronald, he gives you a quest for the Piratesburg island. There you must dig up at least three chests and bring them back to him for a reward. This is a one-time search.
Patricia, Ruffles Owner
Once you enter the Nooktown in the center of the island, you will notice a young girl standing on the porch of the house. That’s Patricia, who lost her dog named Ruffles. She will ask you to dig him out of the ground for a reward of D$100 and 150 EXP. This is a one-time search.
Crook Dude, Thief
If you follow the path across from right where Patricia is standing, you’ll see a shadowy guy standing against the bank vault. This is the Thief who will ask you to dig up a treasure chest for him for 1,000 D$ and 150 EXP. This is a repeatable quest, but there is a 20 second cooldown on it.
Hobo Dave, Homeless
When you reach the center of town, you’ll find a hobo standing on the crossroads right below the rocket statue. His dialogue is just a joke, although you will be able to buy the Item Scanner at his location for D$10,000.
Timy, Child
Timy is a child who lives inside the tree house near the rocket statue. You just have to climb up the ladder and talk to him for a quest that involves digging up his lost balloon. This is a one-time quest with a reward of D$1,000 and 300 EXP.
Piratesburg NPC Locations
Blackbread, Boat Dealer
The first NPC you meet on the pier of Piratesburg Island is Blackbeard, who sells boats. The inventory is the same as at Hoover.
Willy, Merchant
The Piratesburg merchant named Willy stands right next to Blackbeard. He can assess your inventory and buy your items.
Robert, Magnet Dealer
The magnet seller stands right across from Blackbread at the foot of the hill. He sells similar magnet items as Balvin at Nookville.
Arthur, Blacksmith
This NPC has no dialogue, but there are some cool shovels you can buy near him. He can be seen hitting the anvil right across Willy.
Prehistoric Man
If you climb the central mountain and enter the large cave, you will find this NPC on the platform to the left. He will give you a one-time quest to dig up 10 food items for a reward of D$4,500 and 400 EXP.
Sand Guy
You can find this NPC on the nearby island with a large sand castle. He gives you a Sand Kingdom quest, but it only unlocks if you’ve reached at least Level 25.
Two Guys
These two NPCs can be found inside the tavern on the same island as the Sand Man. They have no dialogue, and there are no purchasable items nearby.
Greek Temple NPC Locations
Dominus Empyreus, Roman emperor
Dominus is the only NPC that can be found on the Greek Temple island. He sits on the throne inside the temple and sells his special Emperor Shovel for D$88,888. Note that this shovel is only available to players who have reached at least Level 33. This shovel adds a Gold modifier to all items dug up from it.
Badlands NPC Locations
My, Merchant
Mia is the Badlands merchant who rates and buys your inventory. She can be found inside the house on the beach. Her dialogue is different from other traders as she is quite rude which makes her one of the funniest NPCs in the game.
Skeleton Guy
This NPC in the skeleton suit is standing right behind Mia’s house on the picnic rug. If you talk to him, he will tell you about the possibility of catching the Colossal Worm, which has a 22% chance of spawning inside the pit, located in the center of the Badlands island.
Waldo, Old Man
This NPC has no dialogue, and he just sits there, reading his newspaper, on the porch of the house located right behind the Skeleton Guy.
Flapjack, Fisherman
This final NPC of the Badlands also has no dialogue, sitting on a small pier by the lake directly between the Waldo’s house and the pyramid. This is actually a very clever homage to the Roblox game Fisch, which directly inspired the creation of Dig It.
Permafrost NPC Locations
Rimbus, Boat Dealer
This is the main boat dealer on the Permafrost island. You can find him in a small wooden shack on the shore near the pier.
Marie, an elf
Marie is a shovel dealer who sells the Snow Shovel, which has special Permaforst likes. Marie can be seen in the center of the Snow City. This shovel is only available to players who have reached at least Level 28, and it sells for D$45,000.
Gerald, Merchant
The island’s chief merchant can be seen inside the cabin directly across from Marie. He rates and buys your found items.
Hobo
Right next to Gerald’s cabin, you can find a sleeping hobo in an elf outfit. He has some funny dialogue, but there’s nothing more to it.
Frank, Chill Dude
Once you cross the Snow City, you will see an entrance into a giant ice cave. There are several NPCs here, including Frank, who has some dialogue but not much else.
Frozen Hobo
If you look down next to Frank, you’ll see a frozen tramp under a thick layer of ice. Unfortunately, there is no way to dig him out.
Rick, Explorer
The second talking NPC of the ice cave is Rick, who can be seen near a campfire directly across from Frank’s tent. This NPC gives you a chance to dig up a Woolly Mammoth for a reward of D$10,000 and 800 EXP.
Frost Elf
Similarly, if you look under the ice next to Rick, you’ll see another frozen NPC with no dialogue. This one is wearing an elf costume.
The Ice Lord
Once you leave the ice cave and travel further, you should be able to see a transparent ice castle. The Ice Lord sits inside the castle on the throne and sells the Frozen Shovel for D$75,000. Just like Snow Shovel, this one is also boosted on Permafrost, but you can only use it if you’ve reached at least Level 30.
Lunar Cloud NPC Locations
Lunar Merchant
Occasionally, a Lunar Cloud event randomly spawns a new area over the sea, with a 22% chance. If you reach the upper level, you will find the Lunar merchant who sells the Lunar Shovel for D$67,500. This shovel can dig up exclusive night items at any time of the day, but you can only use it if you have reached at least Level 30.
