Avowed can be played in third person

If you missed the Xbox Showcase Deep Dive in Avowed (an upcoming fantasy RPG in the same universe as the Pillers of Eternity games), there are quite a few exciting features in the game, but the best is the three-person game mode.
You’ll embark on a quest from Emperor Aedyr to investigate the dream plague in the Living Lands, forging your own bath as you make some crucial choices in the story. However, before you start playing, you will need to decide whether you want to play the game in first person or in the confirmed third person game mode.
First person is a little more immersive for me, while third person allows for a better perception of the area around you. It all comes down to preferences, and it’s really amazing that you have an option to choose what you like in this game.
While Avowed is not a sequel to Pillars of Eternity, there are connections between the two games. Inquisitor Lodwyn, a minor character from the Lost Dues in Good Fait quest in Deadfire, now seems to play a bigger role in Avowed.

In both parts of Pillars of Eternity, you could play as a Godlike (a member of any species whose soul has been touched by one of the gods). Stated, the divines take center stage because your character is one. They usually have a physical manifestation of this trait on their face and head that you can adjust. I’m very excited to see all the options.
Obsidian Studios also paid homage to its Pillars of Eternity origins in the story trailer, showing us beautiful isometric shots of the world of Eora. Hopefully, we’ll see some of them in the Avowed cutscenes as well.
