Best 4 star characters in Wuthering Waves
Although five-star characters are the stars of the show in Wuthering Waves, you shouldn’t overlook the brilliance of the four-stars, because some are quite powerful. Here are the best four-star characters you should use in Wuthering Waves.
Strongest 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves
Although there are some failures, most of the 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves are actually quite comparable to five stars. Stats aside, four-stars often have just as unique game mechanics as their 5-star brethren, but the ones listed here are the special cases you should be aware of.
You may want to consider playing the following characters if you don’t have access to 5* stars yet or need stronger characters to build.
Danjin
If you followed Wuthering Waves before its official release, then you probably heard about how Danjin was a DPS machine in the beta character in the game. Well, for release, she received little to no changes, so she remains one at the top of the pack and therefore worth building. She is hard to play well, however, as her extreme DPS comes at the cost of her health. You will constantly be living life on the edge if you intend to play it effectively.
You can get Danjin by pulling her from any of the current banners. She is currently rated above on Jiyan’s banner for a higher chance.
to die
If you’re looking to fill the screen with conjured fireballs, then Mortefi is the choice for you. His glorious fire comes with the added bonus of being an exceptionally strong sub-DPS to almost every major DPS character in the game. He himself does not stop the burst damage.
He can be obtained by pulling any of the current banners. He’s on Jiyan’s banner at the moment, giving you a higher than normal chance of getting him if you pull it.
Sanhau
The queen of burst damage, Sanhau is a very strong four-star character that compliments any team with her extremely fast Concerto rotation and extreme burst damage. She allows for quick trades without any investment, but if you decide to invest in her, know that there aren’t many who can dish out as much damage as she can in one second. I’ve made quite a bit of progress in the Tower of Misfortune, and she’s been a big help as a strong sub-dps.
You can get Sanhau by pulling any of the current banners. You can also get a copy of her just by logging into Wuthering Waves for five days.
Chixia
Even though Sanhau does more burst damage than Chixia, she has one of the strongest Ultimate abilities in the game, with a multiplier so high that it often wipes out full encounters without needing to use other abilities. When the going gets tough, and everything isn’t dead on the first round, Chixia is fully capable of hanging with the rest on this list with her extremely consistent and reliable ranged DPS.
You can get Chixia through the main story, but she’s also available on any of the current banners, including Jiyan. Specifically, she’s rated up there, so you have a higher chance of pulling her from it.
Baizhu
If you did not get Verina of the standard standard, then know that Baizhi will absolutely serve you as a healing alternative. She is more than capable of supporting your team and providing enough damage buffs to ensure that it can kill anything that needs killing. Despite being a starter free, she’s well worth the investment if you plan to run with a healer.
Baizhu is obtained by playing the main story, but you always have a chance to get additional copies of her by pulling one of the current banners. She may also be featured on a rating banner in the future, so keep an eye out if you’re interested in playing with her more.
