If you love competitive knockout games on Roblox, Death Ball is among the great ones! But if you want to succeed in the arena, deflecting the ball with your weapon to win each round, you will have to use the best champions to succeed.

Who are the best champions in Roblox Death Ball?

Roblox Death Ball is a pinball-style arena fighting game where you claim gems and level with defeating opponents and winning rounds being the last player standing. As you level up, you’ll unlock enhanced abilities for each champion, with different champions suited to different playstyles due to their various strengths and weaknesses.

There are about 10 champions you can buy and level up in Roblox Death Ball, all in all inspired by anime heroes. Most can be purchased with the Gems you earn while playing (or can be collected with our Roblox Death Ball codes), but some are only available by completing in-game quests or through Roblox. I listed the top five champions to go for below as well as some other strong options if your playstyle suits something a little different.

Based on: Killua Zoldyck (Hunter x Hunter)

Keilo the lightning master can be bought with 25k Gems. He is great at dodging and moving quickly around the arena. You will start with the Zap Freeze an ability that freezes the ball for 2.5 seconds as well as electrocuting an opponent if timed well.

You will not move any attachment God speed at level 15 (run super fast for 5 seconds while having auto-deflect for that time), Assassin Invisibility at level 50 (invisible and untargetable for 3 seconds), and Lightning Interception at 75 (you intercept for 7 seconds and can deflect for someone else once). Note that Keilo used to be available only by spending 199 Robux, but this has been changed.

Saito

Based on: Saitama (One Punch Man)

The hero Saito is either obtained by RNG when you first start playing (you get one free random character) or for 5k Gems later. Generally seen as the game’s premium blocking character, Saito gets Uppercut immediately (automatic deflection with a long deflection time that launches the ball a long distance).

Then you can get Super Jump at level 25 (launching yourself high into the air), Sonic Slide at 50 (automatic deflection with a very long timer), and Ground Walls at level 80 (another automatic deflection that speeds up the ball, which can often throw off your opponents).

Coju

Based on: Toji Fushiguro (Jujutsu Kaisen)

You can only get Koju by finding Cursed Spirit packs when you complete the Cursed Spirit boss. Koju is a good defensive champion that ramps up to some great combos later as he also develops into an attacking force.

When you start you will have Jump Strike, which allows you to automatically dodge as you jump through the air. As you level up, you will also achieve Spirit Wall at 30 (the wall makes other players use their block while also deflecting the ball for you), Chain Spear at 67 (the ball is aimed at you, but then automatically deflects), and Handgun when you hit level 89 (you can shoot the ball to deflect it).

Jiro

Based on: Hisoka (Hunter x Hunter)

Jiro the trickster champion can only be obtained after you complete the Card Hunt, which involves collecting nine cards. These cards are hidden in various places throughout the game, from the lobby to boss battles (see below). This is a great hero for launching complex combos.

Jiro begins with the Bomb Jump an ability that allows you to get close to opponents or reach high places. At level 30 you win bonk (a power hit that damages a player when the ball reaches them), 62 Side Step (the ball misses you), and at 80 Bungee (makes the ball move towards you).

Card hunting by Jiro

To complete the hunt you need nine of the available cards. Here are the simpler places:

  • On the right side of the blue roof of the Hall of Champions in the lobby.
  • In the Dark Dimension Mapon one of the walls.
  • Behind Jiro in the Hall of Champions.
  • On one of the three tall pillars surrounding the RAP tower in the lobby.
  • On the Map of Tricky Toweron top of the electric tower in the lower right corner.
  • Behind the Magic Table in the Business lobby.
  • At the blue dog on the Hall of Champions in the lobby.
  • In the Boss Lobbybehind the ‘Soon’ door.
  • In the Lobby, from the Fruit Standon the right
  • Inside a bush on the Arena Tournaments Map.
  • Of the girls lying to the left of the Map of the beach.
  • On one of the doors near a ramp on the Ghoul Arena map.
  • Under bronze gear on the Castle map.

Gauze

Based on: Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Time and space champion Gazo is either obtained by RNG when you first start playing (you get one free random character) or for 5k Gems later. He is a good choice if you like the idea of tricking your opponents. You start with the Fake Ball a skill that deflects the ball but also creates a fake to confuse players).

As you level up, you will also earn Phase Dash at 20 (teleport in the direction you indicate), Eight blind at 60 (blinds a casual player), and Astral Portal at 85 (the ball will go through it, rather than come to you).

The next best options

Both of them Kameki and Lufus are solid champions to level, but they just miss my top five. Kameki costs 17.5k Gems and has some interesting abilities that affect the speed of the ball and your movement. This makes him difficult to play and perfect but great if you try. Lufus is either your random starting champion or can be bought for 5k Gems later. If you want to sabotage other players with deflections and slowing down time, he’s a fun and disruptive choice.
