Best Lethal and Tactical Gear in Black Ops 6 Beta

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are various gadgets that you can add to your loadout in addition to your guns. The most important are Lethal and Tactical Equipment, which you can use to disorient or even eliminate enemies. Here is a ranked list of the best Lethals and Tactics in BO6 Beta.

Best Deadly Gear in Black Ops 6 Beta

As the name suggests, Lethal Equipment can be used against the enemy to damage them and even eliminate them in one hit if used properly.

1. Sticky Grenade

Also known as Semtex, the Sticky Grenade when thrown sticks to the surface and they explode after a short time. Enemies can be alerted by its beeping sound but it doesn’t take long to explode, so they could still be damaged if not killed. If you launch the throw at an opponent and they are blocked by this kill, it is not possible to save them.

2. Battle Axe

Instead of throwing knives, we can use throwing axes in Black Ops 6. Aim these recoverable Mortals at an enemy and throw to get an instant kill if you land it anywhere on their body. As I mentioned, it’s recoverable, which means you can pick it up from where it landed. A battle ax can also bounce off surfaces, so chances are high that you’ll get a lucky kill if it lands.

3. Frag

Any Call of Duty game is incomplete without a good Frag Grenade. These are timed fragmentation grenades that can roll onto the surface and damage the enemies within its blast radius. Frag is also cookable, which means you can hold it in your hands for a short time and throw to surprise the enemy with an instant explosion. If you deploy it immediately, there is a chance the enemy can throw it back at you. Try throwing it across the map to get some satisfying kills right when the match starts.

4. Thermal granulation

Once thrown, the Thermal Grenade deploys a cloud of flammable gas cloud that explodes after a short duration. It also leaves a fire residue from the ground that can damage any enemy passing through it. I am not a fan of this equipment as there are better ones available, but feel free to try it yourself.

5. Explosive Trap

Explosive traps are proximity-triggered explosive devices that detonate when an enemy comes within range. May not always work if the enemy spots the Explosive Trap and avoids it by going all the way around. These will be great for game modes like Hardpoint and Domination where you have to defend the captured objective.

Tactical Equipment may not sound like much, but can be very useful if used effectively under certain circumstances. These are often used by experienced players to gain a competitive advantage over the enemies by either confusing them or making themselves ready to fight after a skirmish.

1. Stim Shot

Stim Shot replenishes any lost health instantly and refreshes your tactical sprint. With omnimovement in Black Ops 6, Stim Shots will be meta. If you’re low on health and enemies get close to you, pop the trigger to regain HP. Even if you don’t need the health regen, just use it to zoom past the opponents while refreshing your tactical sprint.

2. Flash

Flashbangs are back and are just as useful as the previous games. Hit enemies are blinded and you can use this opportunity to take them out while they are disoriented. It’s most effective when you’re trying to clear rooms and capture points in modes like Hardpoint; however the enemy may have a Trophy System Field Upgrade planted that can destroy your flash grenade.

3. Proximity Alarm

Prox Alarm is a new tactical device that I enjoyed using during my game time. Place these sticky alarms on a surface you want to keep an eye on. The device will start ringing and flashing when an enemy approaches its vicinity alerting you to their presence. Spotted enemies will also appear on your teammates minimaps, making the Prox Alarm a great piece of equipment.

4. Concussion

Similar to Flashbangs, a Concussion Grenade disorients the enemy by slowing their movement and aiming instead of blinding them. I prefer flash grenades to stun grenades because the former completely blocks information on the enemy’s screen. In any case of using Concussion, the opponent’s aim assist can lock onto you and you will end up dying even after a tactical advantage, so be careful and stay out of their crosshairs.

5. Decoy

The sticky Decoy Grenade mimics enemy footsteps and gunfire sounds. These are meant to confuse the enemy, but it never achieves that feat unless you’re playing against newbies. Although Decoys have no tactical application, players have used these to gain free XP. Any kill your teammates get close to a Decoy thrown by you will get you assist points which can help level up your weapons quickly.
