Fortnite Battle Royale's Chapter 5 Season 2 was nothing short of a surprise – and the addition of Star Wars co-op reintroduced some old weapons like E-11 Blasters. Combined with some of the previously existing weapons, here are some essential weapons you should keep in your loadout to turn the tides of battle in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 Season 2.
Best weapons to use in the Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration
Below is a list of the best weapons to use in the Fortnite x Star Wars update. Of course, you'll get more use out of them if you use them synergistically, so here are some tips.
For close combat, Gatekeeper Shotgun of Cerberus and E-11 Blasters work very well You can even have SMG your choice, but considering the meta right now, sticking to these two weapons should serve you better.
For mid-to-long range fights, you'll want to switch between the Water Taping Myth and the Wookie Bowcaster. If you only shoot one and rely entirely on it, chances are it will run out of shots and you might end up switching to a new weapon anyway. So, after every few successes, switch between the two myths and annihilate anyone who gets in your way. Even if it's Darth Vader with his deadly lightsaber!
E-11 Blasters
Right off the bat, remember that though E-11 Blasters has a humorous brand of “missing shots”, although they are quite useful in the game. Because they don't take time to recharge, they're great for constant pressure. You may be wondering what is the fastest way to get one; the answer lies at the very top corner of the map.
Once you are at Darth Vader's location (marked on the map above), you can find E-11 Blasters by either defeating stormtroopers or opening the chests in this location.
Wookie Bowcaster
Next, you'll want the Wookie Bowcaster which will be given to you by Star Wars' own Chewbacca, who is loved by millions of fans. His Bowcaster allows for close to mid-range shots that have massive damage potential. You can find him on the island at one of these locations.
Although it may be tempting, we recommend you avoid using Darth Vader's lightsaber as your primary weapon. The weapon just isn't as strong as it used to be and there are better options in the game now.
Water Taping Myth
Finally, you want to save the Water Taping Myth as part of your arsenal. This item was recently added to the game thanks to the Avatar the Last Airbender update. It allows you to fire versatile shots and damage opponents even at long range. This is part of the random drop, so players can find it by opening chests or defeating opponents.
Gatekeeper Shotgun of Cerberus
These three weapons should serve you well, but there's another weapon you might find very useful… if you're up for a little challenge! Try to get the Gatekeeper Shotgun of Cerberus. This is an extremely powerful short-range weapon with 164.9 damage potential and 1.7 rate of fire. It can be obtained by defeating Cerberus at Grim Gate on the Fortnite map.
