Best Horizon Forbidden West settings for high FPS and visuals
While testing the benchmarks of Horizon Forbidden West on my mid-range setup – RTX 3050 TI GPU with Ryzen 5600 CPU at 1080p, I observed the game running smoothly, however it could use some improvements. Therefore, I made some adjustments to certain settings to optimize the performance of the game.
I prioritize higher FPS over the visual aesthetics of the game. Therefore, if you are willing to trade some frames for better images, I recommend experimenting with these settings to determine which ones work best for you.

How to get more FPS in Horizon Forbidden West on PC
I have found that the richest resources are Cloud Quality, Shadow Quality, Level of Detail, Parallax Occlusion Mappingand Texture Quality. All these settings can be configured according to your preference. I recommend keeping Texture Quality on the higher end as it significantly affects the most noticeable visuals in the game.
I don’t like either after–effects how Bloom, To blurand Lensflare. Although they are not that heavy, but they can make your game sluggish due to the effects. I’m happy with these settings turned off.
