Top 10 Roblox Horror Games with Multiplayer in 2024
I’m going to be honest here. I was writing this between 3 and 4 in the morning with The Simpsons playing in the background and suddenly heard some random owl hoot – absolutely freaked me out! It took me a few seconds to realize it was the episode’s audio playing.
Also, why are all the icons for the horror games on Roblox so grotesque? Anyway, here are my top 10 picks to give you nightmares if you aren’t desensitized to horror or have a vivid imagination. I tried to stick to games that still had at least a few hundred active players.
I’m not sleeping tonight, that’s for sure. enjoy
10. Escape the Facility
The purpose of Escape the Facility is simple: work together to hack computers and unlock the exits before the Beast hunts you down and captures you.
The Beast, played by another Roblox user, could be lurking in any corner. While hacking, be sure to look at your avatar’s back and watch out for a red light.
It is the only sure way to know that the Beast is coming.
9. Apeirophobia
Set in an endless maze of eerie, dimly lit corridors and rooms, Apeirophobia plunges you and three friends into a nightmarish journey where escape seems impossible. The tension builds as you explore the seemingly endless corridors, and each turn reveals new horrors. This one also made our list of the top 20 games to play on Roblox with friends.
Apeirophobia’s clever use of psychological horror will keep you constantly on edge, questioning reality and fearing what might be lurking around the next corner.

8. Don’t Sleep
The sheer amount of anxiety I felt playing this. my god
Don’t Sleep is a Roblox horror experience that takes the fear of nightmares to a whole new level. In this game, you and your friends must navigate through a series of terrifying scenarios that challenge your courage and wits. The premise is easy to understand: try to stay awake and survive as long as possible while disturbing events unfold around you.
The creepy atmosphere, combined with jump scares and haunting music, keeps you on edge throughout the entire experience. It’s the kind of game that makes you second-guess yourself by turning off the lights in your own room after playing.
7. The Mimic
The Mimic is a spine-chilling game that throws you into a dark, twisted world inspired by Japanese folklore and urban legends. In this experience, you and your friends must work your way through haunting environments filled with mysterious, supernatural creatures that draw heavily from stories like the yokai and other mythical spirits.
The story unfolds in chapters, each more terrifying than the last, as you uncover the mysteries behind the malevolent forces hunting you. The Mimic is perfect for gamers who love a good scare and a deep, engaging plot rooted in ancient myths.
I made the mistake of joining The Witch Trials and being lured into a false sense of security. I won’t soon forget that leap care.
6. Short Scary Stories
Short Scary Stories is a collection of short stories designed to… Well, scare you. Each story takes you and your friends through a different setting, full of strange twists – and scary things. They are just creepy. Why I chose to play the Dollhouse, I will never know.
The game’s episodic structure makes it perfect for quick, intense bursts of fear, with each story delivering its own unique brand of terror. From haunted houses to disturbing encounters with the supernatural, “Short Creepy Stories” keeps you on edge with its unpredictable plots and immersive atmosphere. It’s a great choice for those who enjoy a variety of horror themes and want to experience multiple scares in one sitting.
5. Scary Elevator
Absolutely no part of me wanted to click on this game.
As a step in the Scary Elevatorthe game randomly chooses a gruesome killer to spawn, giving you only moments to prepare yourself before the mayhem begins.
When the doors open, you’ll have to avoid the killer’s attacks and survive until the elevator closes again, earning coins and survival points that can be used to buy items to help you stay alive longer. For an extra challenge, you can try to escape through a hatch, earning a big coin bonus and a quick return to the lobby.
4. Pressure
As you play an inmate drafted for a dangerous mission, you must avoid the terrifying things that lurk in the shadows. You have been hired to find a mysterious crystal hidden inside a nightmarish facility. With no advance warning of the horrors that await, you must navigate the many dark, claustrophobic rooms.
The game’s unique mechanics allow you to gather crucial information about these creatures every time you die, making your repeated attempts both a learning experience and a test of survival.
Tip: Don’t lose your companions, it makes it much worse.
No pressure.
3. Judy
Okay, I’m going to give everyone a warning here. Chapter one of Judy has Centipede Judy in it. I have a huge ick for centipedes, and even thinking about them makes me feel sick. The whole monster design in this game is just super gross – it really is on that level of horror that makes you think you’re going to puke.
You and your friends must investigate an abandoned theme park and its sinister past. lovely But that’s not the only place you’ll see in Judy’s three chapters.
As you uncover the dark secrets behind Judy’s disappearance and face supernatural threats, the story unfolds with increasing intensity, before coming to a dramatic conclusion by the ocean. There are several versions of Judy that you will run away from, and none of them are particularly easy on the eyes.
2. The Intruder
You are alone in your house, only to receive a frightening warning that a dangerous criminal is on the loose and has you in their sights. Using the game’s cameras, you have to monitor the intruder’s movements and stay hidden to avoid being discovered.
If the intruder enters your room, you must quickly hide in the closet and turn off the lights until the phone regains service. With five intensity levels, The Intruder tests your ability to manage two crucial bars: Awareness and Anxiety. High Awareness leads to immediate danger, while rising Anxiety can cause you to pass out from shock.
The Intruder can be played solo, but that’s up to you. Quick content warning: The player plays an individual diagnosed with schizophrenia who has been asked to make videos to show them if the things happening to them are real or not.
1. Doors
This is a nightmarish journey through an endless maze of rooms, with the ultimate goal of reaching Door 100. As you progress through DOORSyou will encounter a series of randomly generated rooms full of disturbing creatures designed to terrify and hinder your escape.
From the fearsome Scream (which lurks in dark corners and attacks if you’re not on your guard) to the relentless Rush (which shatters rooms with a bone-chilling scream), each entity brings a unique and terrifying challenge. With every door you open, the tension builds, forcing you to stay alert and carefully strategize to survive the horrors that wait in the shadows. DOORS offers a non-stop, pulse-pounding experience where every step could lead to your demise, making it a true test of courage and nerves.
With over 20,000 active players, I consider DOORS to be the best multiplayer horror game on Roblox.
Excuse me while I go and play Dress to Impress to get all this out of my brain. Speaking of which, we’ve just published a piece on all the controls in Dress to Impress for all devices – it might be useful if you too need a brain cleaner after playing one of these horror games.
