In Test Drive Unlimited Sun Crown, you can explore the city of Hong Kong and participate in various activities to earn Sun Coins and Reputation. While the former is important for buying stuff, Reputation is necessary for leveling up your character and unlocking new items and quests, so here are the best ways to earn it (and to level up).
How to earn Reputation fast in Test Drive Unlimited Sun Crown
Reputation is XP that you can earn by completing objectives and activities around the map. Here are some of the best ways to raise your reputation in Test Drive Unlimited Sun Crown.
Races and events
Even at lower levels, there will be several events in your area such as circuit races and time trials. Open the map and look for these racing events as I showed in the picture above. Set a waypoint, reach the location and start the race by choosing your best car and setting the Driver Aids to your liking. Completing these races earns you Sun Coins and Reputation points. You can increase the receiving amount by performing well in the match and placing in the top three. As you level up, more races appear across the map.
Completing tasks
Completing tasks is important in TDU Solar Crown to progress the story and unlock new objectives and items. You will complete the main tasks and earn XP anyway, but don’t miss the secondary tasks. You can see the list of available tasks on the map screen as shown in the image above. Some of these are too simple and you can complete them to level up quickly. For example, the Rule the Streets Task earned me 4000 Reputation just for visiting the Street HQ.
Drive around exploring the map
You need to complete certain objectives to gain Reputation through the previous methods, but this way you can do it by simply freely roaming and traveling around Hong Kong. Test Drive Unlimited Sun Crown is an open-world game and you are awarded XP for exploring the map and discovering new districts.
You get XP for your Reputation every time you enter a new area by driving your vehicle or discover points of interest like gas pumps and dealerships. In addition, you also get XP for driving through untraveled roads. The unexplored routes are marked in gray while the ones you have visited are shown in white on the minimap. As you continue to discover new regions and paths, you will continue to receive bonus Reputation.
