XP and DCP farm for early to mid-game
XP and DCP farming for early game revolves around setting up camp in a highly vulnerable area. Consider placing your camp on a flat area where enemies can easily access your location instead of on a hill. It also includes buying lots of camping gear – more on that later.
At first, I found a possible bug that allows me reborn bosses as soon as I go to sleep in a campsite. The best camp I have found for this is in the secret entrance to Bakbattahl, check the map above for its exact location. The justice of this method is to enter through the secret way in which ono or two bosses will appeargo back to to camp and restthen the leaders will be reborn.
The problem with this method is unreliable. Bosses may or may not spawn, so that’s the reason why I think it’s a bug. You can certainly try it yourself, but be aware that it might not work for you.
The other method I found still revolves around Camping Kits, more specifically in the Battahl region (see the map above). You can make your way to the agricultural site of the Secret Entranceso it’s a good idea eliminate all enemies there to level your character at least 18-20.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a mechanic where you can get ambushed by random enemies in the neighborhood, and we will exploit that for this method.
At this point you should have a Portcrystal in Bakbattahl as it is one of the best places to put one. Shop all World Camping Gear of Isaac in Bakbattahl. From Bakbattahl, go to the Battahl Ropeway Central Station then on Station Two. Follow the map above to get to the camp.
Once you arrive at the camp, keep camping until you get enemy ambush. Defeat all enemies and you’ll earn a ton of XP and DCP (ie 400 XP per enemy, and about 60 DCP). After an ambush, you probably lose your camping gearrepeat the process until your camping gear is gone and Ferrystone your return to Bakbattahl to buy more tools!
