Clorinde is one of the elusive Fontainian characters from Genshin Impact – Champion Duelist who once served as Furina’s bodyguard. She was shown to have close ties to Navia, Wriothesley, and Neuvillette, and was involved in the Fontaine Archon Quests.
With many updates since the initial release of Fontaine, Clorinde and the little Meropide, Sigewinne, remain as the only previously revealed characters that have not yet become playable units. If you are interested in knowing more about Clorinde, here is all the information we gathered from leaks.

Genshin Impact Clorinde release date
There is currently no confirmed release date for Clorinde, but she will not be released in Version 4.6 as HoYoverse only released Arlecchino’s drop market assets before Version 4.5, making the Fatui Harbinger the only new five-star coming in the upcoming update. As such, the earliest possible release date for Clorinde would be in Version 4.7—but keep in mind that this timeline has not been officially confirmed.

Genshin Impact Clorinde kit
Clorinde has been leaked to be an Electro unit with potential DPS or sub-DPS abilities. Due to the uncertainty in the leaks surrounding her, it is unclear if she has any off-field damage sources. An early leak claimed she may be Cyno 2.0, but it was later disputed due to confusion between Clorinda and Arlecchino.
While Clorinde’s full kit has yet to be revealed by any leaker, rough leaks hint at potential. Energy-focused gear. According to early sources, Clorinde can eventually use a gun-type weapon (such as Chevreuse’s musket and Navia’s gunsight) which forces her to consume Energy to reload bullets. There are also rumors that she may have Fontaine’s unique HP drain mechanic, where her HP drain gives teammates Energy and teammates’ HP drains give Clorinde Energy.

Genshin Impact Clorinde potential build
With so little information surrounding Clorinde (even her weapon is unknown!), we can’t realistically put together a viable build for her. However, there is an opportunity for her to be compatible with the four-piece Marechaussee Hunter Artifact set, as it offers a CRIT Rate boost as HP increases and decreases. The passive is compatible with Clorinde’s widespread HP-draining mechanic, but it will only be usable if she ends up with a DPS-focused kit.
