D2ArmorPicker tool updated for Destiny 2 The Final Form with performance improvements, new features

Everyone’s favorite min-max armor management tool in Destiny 2, D2ArmorPicker, just got a major 2.6.0 update. It brings with it a host of quality-of-life improvements and performance boosts – just in time for the huge The Final Shape expansion.

For those not fully in the loop, the D2ArmorPicker is a fairly simple mix-max armor tool created by Destiny 2 community member Miyago. It allows you to choose the best armor from both your inventory and treasury based on whatever situation you find yourself in. It also tells you what statistical modes to use. Pretty nice!

Let me highlight some of the more popular changes from the long list in the post above. These are sure to please the notoriously outspoken Destiny 2 community:

  • The tool now presents a progress bar that shows the status of the calculation process
  • Logging out when the API is offline is a thing of the past, with the tool instead using the last known data until the API is back online.
  • Already used mods are now color coded, making it easier to differentiate between different mod types

Community response to D2ArmorPicker tool update is overwhelmingly positive

In what must have been a pleasant surprise for D2ArmorPicker tool creator Miyago, the Destiny 2 community’s response to the latest quality of life and performance improvements on Reddit has been glowing, with many praising the update’s unusually quick turnaround in light of the recently arrived La Final Form expansion

Other users have reiterated how crucial the tool is to their overall Destiny 2 experience, saving them valuable time in such a massive loot-driven game.

With over 600 votes in less than a day and counting, it’s clear that the D2ArmorPicker tool is incredibly valuable to Destiny 2 players. Miyago’s work stands as a shining example of community support.
