DBD Chaos Shuffle mod is so fun that fans want a permanent mode
There have been a few modifiers in Dead by Daylight so far, but none have been as fun and as engaging as Chaos Shuffle (a perk randomizer). It’s no surprise that fans want Behavior Interactive (BHVR) to make it permanent.
There are two different types of special events in DBD: modifiers and modes. Modifiers are time-limited events that modify certain aspects of the base game (such as making the map darker, randomizing the perks, etc.). Modes, on the other hand, completely revamp the entire game, adding new mechanics and gameplay.
The most anticipated mode in DBD is 2v8, which is supposed to be coming to the fog in July. We already know that this mode will return regularly as an event with more updates and replays. However, when it comes to modifiers, they’ve only been a one-time thing until now.
Honestly, until Chaos Shuffle, none of the other modifiers were that fun. Since it was pushed live, I haven’t touched normal mode. Of course, I’ve been very unlucky with my perk settings, most often getting Survivor perks that are either situational or don’t work together at all.
I also played Chaos Shuffle with a disadvantage. Despite playing the game for about six years, I can’t remember the bonus icons for the life of me. So when I get four random perks, that absolutely means I won’t know what I got and what the perks do (unless I get Adrenaline or one of Bill’s perks). And yet, I couldn’t stop playing.
Many of the other members in the community (including my friends and I) agree that this was one of the best mods that DBD has put out. It’s no surprise, considering we’ve all been clamoring for bonho casair in the game for many years now. I guess now we have to go back to the random wheel; will not be the same.
