Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Parks Festival Guide – All Button Locations

Those playing Disney Dreamlight Valley may have noticed a little surprise in their mailbox on May 15th when the Dreamlight Parks Fest event begins! Available between May 15 and June 5, 2024, this event will include exclusive rewards and events and community challenges for all players to work together.

What is the Dreamlight Parks Fest in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

According to Scrooge McDuck, the Dreamlight Parks Fest was an annual festival that used to take place in the Valley before Oblivion. For a few weeks a year, the Valley becomes a giant amusement park for all the villagers and visitors to enjoy.

Complete enough Dreamlight Parks Fest quests, and you could unlock three new achievements in the game, each giving you an amazing map inspired by Disney Parks! Two of these probably Button maker and Popcorn enthusiast in the Village tab of your Dreamlight Duties list, but the third achievement is currently hidden.

For the players, this is a fun community event with lots of new items and rewards for us all to enjoy.

How to find all the buttons during the Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Parks Fest event

One of the big parts of the Dreamlight Parks Fest event is the introduction of Buttons. Buttons can be used to craft various items in Disney Dreamlight Valley using a crafting table in the Valley. Even new players will have a crafting table in their house quickly after starting the game — or you can use the one outside Goof’s house if you haven’t moved it yet.

There are five types of Buttons in total.

Red Buttons

Red Buttons can be found around your valley, near villager houses. You can also find them near your own house and inside villagers’ houses. They are the most common type of Button, and I found them mostly around the Peace Meadow and the Plaza.

Blue Buttons

Blue Buttons aren’t something you can find by looking around, you’ll have to get your fishing rod out. Go to Dazzle Beach to fish in the ocean or choose one of the pools in the Peace Meadow. Blue Buttons will appear randomly as you fish. They are found only in the white fishing pointsnot the blue or orange.

Green Buttons

Green Buttons cannot be found in your Valley. They are exclusive rewards for completing daily and weekly event quests during the Dreamlight Parks Fest event. If you want to be able to craft more furniture from the event in the future, you’ll want to keep a stock of these in one of your chests as it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing the Buttons again for a while.

Flower Buttons

Flower Buttons don’t look like Buttons, they look like red flowers. They have a Golden Button in the center. They seem different enough from other flowers in Disney Dreamlight Valley that you wouldn’t mistake them for anything else. I found that many Flower Buttons appeared around Red Buttons in the Square and Peace Meadow. They can be found alone, but it depends on how much unused land space you have in those areas.

Purple Buttons

Purple Buttons can be found in the Functional Items section of your Crafted Recipes when using a crafting table. To make a Purple Button, you need one Blue Button, 2 Red Buttons and 100 Dreamlight (Dreamlight, itself, not Dreamlight Shards).

Green Button Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Your first interaction for the event will be with Scrooge, who will explain the event and give you some Cupcake recipes to help you out.

To complete the Dreamlight Parks Fest daily and weekly quests and get Green Buttons, you’ll need to find Mickey Mouse, Scrooge, Ursula, WALL-E, and Moana to see what Cupcake recipe they want you to make. There are six Cupcake recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including one DLC-exclusive recipe. You can complete multiple Cupcake quests per day, so be sure to stock up on the ingredients.

Make the Cookies at Chez Remy or on another fire/oven somewhere in your Valley and have them delivered. You may be giving them to one villager or several, so keep that in mind when you get each quest.

How to decorate for the Dreamlight Parks Fest event

To start decorating for the Dreamlight Parks Fest, you will first need to talk to Scrooge and activate the DREAMLIGHT PARKS PARTY: ORDERED! search This requires that you first gather the following materials:

  • 25 Iron Ingot
  • 10 Red Falling Penstem
  • 15 Green Falling Penstem
  • 5 Sunflower
  • 25 Rope
  • 5 White & Red Hydrangea
  • 5 Purple Hydrangea
  • 5 Yellow Daisy

Once you have these materials, you will be able to create five Colorful Park Benches and five Disney Park Balloons. You will then need to place them in your Valley to decorate for the event. Many players already have some kind of park in their Valley – there have certainly been enough DreamSnaps, Star Paths and other events to ensure it.

If you don’t have one, there are plenty of attractions in the Premium Shop to go with this event. Remember that update 10 brought a new feature to the game that allows players to ride attractions in their Valley, so this event will be great to add more to your Valley’s park!

The community challenges are a really interesting addition to this event and something Gameloft hasn’t done before in Disney Dreamlight Valley. During the Dreamlight Parks Fest event, players can complete each of these five activities as many times as they want to add to the overall tally of everyone playing during the event.

All you have to do to participate is to be connected to the internet when you play and complete one of the five activities. If the Disney Dreamlight Valley community can reach the target number for each activity, we will all receive rewards for each activity. The activities, objectives and rewards are:

  • 500 Photos with the Statue of Partners shared on social networks for Crafting Essentials Pack.
  • 400k Ice Cream Stands and/or Pretzel Stands Placed in Valleys for Baking Essentials Pack.
  • 350k Recyclers Placed in Valleys for Main Street Decor Pack.
  • 450k Cupcakes Baked for Mickey Mouse Items Pack.
  • 600k Attractions Ride for Moonstones and Big Chest.

Players have until June 5, 2024 to cooperate and get these rewards. But that’s not all! Claim a free Park Recycle Bin, Park Bench and Park Lamp Post Banner using code PARKSFEST24! This is official code from the DDV and Gameloft team, and it’s good to see new code!
