Don’t miss this Terraria-themed secret weapon in the Stardew Valley 1.6 update
With the Stardew Valley 1.6 update, the game has a ton of added content, including new crops, pets, and even the Terraria-themed secret weapon – Meowmere! As a fan of Terraria, I wanted to find out how to get Meowmere in Stardew Valley.
How to get Meowmere in Stardew Valley 1.6 – Terraria weapon
Meowmere is the new Terraria-themed secret weapon in Stardew Valley, and you can get it by following the steps below:
- Pick up an Ancient Doll and go to the 100th floor of the Mines.
- Throw the Ancient Doll into the lava to get a distant stone.
- Take the far stone to the Wizard’s Cellar.
- With the distant stone in hand, interact with the vase-looking object on the far right side of the basement, and a short scene will play where a cat from the world of Terraria will give you a Meowmere.
If the steps seem awfully familiar, that’s because they are likewise you invoke the Wall of Flesh in Terraria. You drop a Guide Voodoo Doll into the lava while the Guide is alive, and you will automatically face the Wall of Flesh.
Going back to Stardew Valley 1.6 update, the Meowmere is not an overpowered weapon; in fact, it’s a bit bland with a bit of cat cuteness. The weapon has 20-20 damage, +4 Speed, and +2 Weight, making it a useful combat tool for kites and avoiding difficult enemies like the blue squid.
With Terraria getting a blue chicken and a Junimo pet, it’s no surprise that Stardew Valley is getting Terraria-themed content in return. Hopefully, it won’t be the last crossover between the two charming indie titles.
