Fisch’s biggest update arrives this week in the form of the Ancient Islands Expansion. With only four more days left for the update, several rumors and content leaks about new fish, islands and relics have surfaced across various Social Media platforms and forums. Fisch Ancient Isles Expansion Leaks
The Fisch developers themselves leaked some content about the upcoming Fisch on their official Discord channel, and you can find details about them below.
- New Bomb Item: The first leak the Fisch developers released was the image of two players holding a fish radar and a bomb. Yes, if you look closely, you will see the second character holding a bomb-like object in his hand. Currently, we are still determining what this is for! But, from chatter around the community, it might have to do something with the Megladon Fish, which is also rumored to be an upcoming boss fish in the game that players can fish and take down to get exclusive loot.
- Radio Towers: The developers also released a small video describing the various scenarios taking place on Ancient Isles Island. This small clip shows the landscapes of the islands, which have many cacti, new trees and miniature Radio Towers. There are such towers with beeping green lights on almost every part of the island. We think this is also connected with the Megladon Fish and may act as a signal to its call.
- New Ancient Isle Keys: In the same footage, the developers also show an underground area similar to the Depths section. Here, you can see that there are five totem-like objects with relic placeholders in front of them. Studying the various color themes around these placeholders, these should be for Abyssal, Aurora, Midas, and Lunar Relics. Along with that, you can also see a large door/portal that should be the Ancient Archives holding the vital secrets of the Fisch universe. As usual, there is a large placeholder for the door, which means you need a key to access the area!
- Travis Scott Fish?: What started as a meme can now become a reality! Yes, the community has been doing the Travis Scott Fish Meme for a long time, and the developers have now shown interest in it by conducting a survey where they asked if they wanted to feature the Travis Scott fish for the next update, and most of the votes were cast to have one Whether we will see the fish or not, remains in the hands of the developer!
- Auto Fish Feature: The demand for an auto-fishing feature in the game has been going on for a long time. To further study the interest in the mechanic, the developers conducted a poll on test servers, where they asked the players if they would be happy to have an auto-fishing feature, and it also received an overwhelming amount of positive votes. So, there is a lot of chance to see this feature in the next Ancient Isle Update!
