If you have diligently worked through the Archaeologist Bestiaryyour hard work is about to pay off. Completing this task unlocks access to the mysterious island mentioned by Dr. Finneus during your initial conversation with him. Officially called the Archaeological Site Islandyou can use this guide to locate it in Fisch’s world.
How to Find the Mysterious Island (Archaeological Site Island) in Fisch
Once you’ve caught it all ten fish bones needed to complete the Archaeologist Bestiary, Dr. Finneus will reward you with a Handwritten Note. This note not only includes a map with the exact coordinates of the island (4043.7, 131.9, 74.3) but also presents a series of nine mysterious ones glyphs. These glyphs are essential to solving the puzzle that guards the treasure hidden inside the island’s cave (the Relic Wand!).
You won’t be able to solve the puzzle or claim the Relic Staff from the Archaeological Site Island until you are completed the Archaeologist Bestiary and received the Handwritten Note by Dr. Finneus.
Getting to the Archaeological Site Island can be difficult, especially if you are not used to using Fisch’s GPS system. The easiest way is to start at Mushgrove Swampone of the more recognizable islands of Fisch. Sail around to the back of the marshthen chart a course southeast. Be careful an island slightly to the right as you travel – it will gradually come into view as it charges. This is the “mysterious island” referred to by Dr. Finneus.
Relic Wand Location
Upon reaching the island, you will notice that its terrain is a maze platforms, rocks and uneven roads. While the area is visually interesting, it is also difficult to navigate. Your goal is to reach the center of the islandwhich is located at 4039.6, 131.5, 73.4. This place is home to a cave door guarded by a stone panel with a puzzle interface.
Once you’ve reached the cave door, it’s time to place Dr. Finneus’s Handwritten Note to use The nine glyphs presented on the note represents the order in which you must press the buttons on the stone panel. Carefully examine the note and match the glyphs to the buttons on the panel.
Press the buttons in the correct order, and the cave door will unlock. Inside the cave, you’ll find a series of descending platforms that lead to the bottom. At the lowest point, you will find the Relic Wand for sale for 8,000 C$.
