The Megalodon entered Fisch as part of the Ancient Island Updateand it is no small feat to catch this huge shark! If you’re struggling to find it, this guide will walk you through its location, how to catch it, and everything else you need to know to be successful in the hunt.
Megalodon Location in Roblox Fisch
The Megalodon Shark has 5% chance to spawn at the start of a new in-game day. However, its spawning location is not fixed. Here are some tips on how to get your own Megalodon:
- Best Place to Wait – Because the Megalodon is nearby Ancient Island (which is located in the far east of Moosewood), I would advise staying near the Shipbuilder on Ancient Island so that you can spawn a boat when the in-game event occurs.
- Wait for the Generative Notification – When the shark appears, you will see a popup at the bottom of your screen that says “Megalodon Hunt event has begun.”
- How to Find the Event – Use yours fish radar or look for a giant red circle and black clouds in the sky to locate the Megalodon.
caution: While traveling to the location of the Megalodon, watch out for sharp and explosive obstacles that can damage your boat!
How to Catch the Megalodon
Catching the Megalodon requires preparation and a bit of luck. Once you locate the incident area, equip a stick capable of handling at least 8,000 kgsuch as the Steady Rod, Kings Rod, or Rod of the Depths. It would be best if you also equipped Shark Head bait, because it is Megalodon’s favorite.
If other players are nearby, the Megalodon will be given randomly to one player; as long as they manage to catch it. If you miss, repeat the process. However, if you fish alone in the event area, your Megalodon catch is guaranteed!
When you successfully hook the Megalodon, rainbow-colored exclamation point will appear above your head, followed by a flashing sound.
