Fisch Nuke Locations – How to Catch a Nuke
The Nuke in Fisch is a Mythic item that came along with the Forsaken Shores expansion. Its rarity and power have made it one of the most desired items in the game, but getting hold of one is a huge headache. This guide will walk you through all the details you need to know about finding, catching and using Nuke in Fisch.
What is the Nuke in Fisch?
This Mythic catch can appear next to any other fishwhich means you might not even realize you’ve attached it until you see the minigame prompt. Successfully capturing it allows you to keep it in your inventory for manual detonation later. However, if you to fail the balance minigame, the Nuke is about to explodetriggering a nuclear mutation event.
Although the item is regionless, it does not have separate fishing spots from which it is easier to catch it. Unlike the Magic Thread, for example, which can be easily caught from the waterfall on the Ancient Island. These are the known stats for the Nuke:
Category | States |
---|---|
A rarity | Mythical. |
Seizing Opportunity | About 1/50,000 without lucky boosts. |
Location | Regionless – it can be caught anywhere in the game. |
Bait | No Preferences. |
Weather/Weather/Season | No Preferences. |
Special Effect | Triggers a nuclear mutation event, increasing fish value by 4x in the area. |
How to Catch Nuke in Fisch
The Nuke has an extremely low chance of spawning (roughly 1/50,000), so maximizing your luck is crucial. Use the best wands, bait and enchantments to significantly increase your odds. Once hooked, a balance minigame begins. You will have to press the Q and E keys to move left and right, keeping the arrow inside the green zone. Successfully finishing in the green zone stores the Nuke in your inventory. if you fail, it detonates on the spottriggering its event.
Stored Nukes can be detonated manually from your inventory. However, remember that every time you take the Nuke, the balance minigame will have to be completed again.
Nuke Locations
Since this item is region-free, you can grab Nuke in any of these locations:

How to Use Nuke
When Nuke explodes, a nuclear mutation event begins, lasting 30 minutes. During this time all fish caught in the affected area acquire the Nuclear mutation. Nuclear fish sell for 4x their original value. To get the most out of a nuclear mutation event pair the Nuke with the Aurora Borealis weather event for better chances at very valuable catches.
To locate the mutation zone, use a Fish Radarpurchasable at Moosewood docks from the Shipbuilder NPC for 8,000 C$. This tool highlights the event area with a green outline and shows the remaining time for the mutation. Purchasable at Moosewood docks from the Shipwright NPC for 8,000 C$. This tool highlights the event area with a green outline and shows the remaining time for the mutation.
