Along with the ORCA migratory event, the other outstanding notable inclusion in the post-Atlantic update was the addition of a completely new landmark called Oil -Rigel/Refinery on the map. This new territory also brought back the Fanatic Doctor Glimmerfin NPC to the game. So, here is a detailed explanation of the location of the oil rig and the whole Hype surrounding it.
Where is the oil rig in Fisch?
The newly added oil righ Poi is located at the GPS coordinate (X: -1793, 130, -480). This is located exactly somewhere between the Forsaken Shore Poi and the Grand Reef. Travel to this destination to find a large oily ring on the ocean bottom.
Every glimmerfin quest in oil rig
After reaching the oil platform, you can climb to the first floor, where you will find multiple other NPCs along with Dr. Glimmerfin in the center. Although Glimmerfin does not reveal much, interacting with other NPCs at the site shows that the oil rig is almost built, and Glimmerfin requires some Its a fin at the top of this building. These dialogues are links to future searches or Lorego of the Fisch Universe, which are almost below wraps at the moment.
I personally predict that as the search of previous Glimmerfin, you will need to catch some items/fish in the coming weeks that could be used to complete the building, which will in turn serve as a new landmark with a new set of beast.
Oil -rigging fish and beast
Currently, you cannot catch fish at oil, which means there is no beast to perform. However, the whole community and I predict that there will be some kind of beast available at the place after you resolved the search for Glimmerfin, which remains a mystery.
