The Fortnite Midas event challenges have gone live, and one of them requires you to confirm with Marigold about Midas’ Escape. Since it’s a dialogue selection quest, I’ve listed all the answers below to help you complete this Midas event challenge in Fortnite.
Where is Marigold NPC in Fortnite?
The Marigold NPC can be found at five different locations in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map:
- West of the Underworld
- Northwest of Reckless Railways
- Southwest of Pleasent Plaza
- Mount Olympus
- Eastern Snooty Steppes
I have also marked the exact locations in the image above for your convenience. It is worth noting that Marigold does not appear on the map by default. Instead, you will have to go to the mentioned place and activate the altar to spawn her.

How to confirm with Marigold about the Flight of Midas (Dialogue Answers)
Once you locate Marigold, you’ll need to explain to her how Midas escaped the scene by choosing the right dialogue options.
- A question: It seems as if those Chains of Hades were able to suppress his Golden Touch. How did he escape?
- Answer: A guard unchained one of his hands??
- A question: Interesting. So what happened?
- Answer: He used his free hand to turn the other catenor!
- A question: And what was the final step to his escape?
- Answer: He pushed open the door of the cell.
Once you answer all three questions correctly, the quest will be marked as complete, and you will receive 10,000 XP for your efforts. In addition to this, you have the chance to grab more exclusive Midas rewards like Cerberus Medallion Spray, Queen in Gold Glider and more when you complete more challenges.
