Fortnite players are not happy about the new Star Wars crossover LEGO pass price
Fortnite fans are divided about the new Star Wars crossover event. The crossover event spans the entire game universe including the Battle Royale, Lego Fortnite, Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing modes. Now, fans are arguing over the price of the event pass, which includes a popular skin.
Some Fortnite players feel that the event pass for the Star Wars crossover event offers little value in terms of savings, while also being more expensive than the previous Star Wars pass. The upcoming Star Wars-themed event will cost players 1400 V-Bucks, which is 400 more than last year's. Last year the pass included the Coruscant Guard costume while this year will include the skin for the beloved character Chewbacca.
However, since the event pass is mainly focused on LEGO Fortnite and the pass is tied to that, some believe that the price increase of 400 V-Bucks is too much for those who don't even play that mode. It basically means that players who don't play LEGO Fortnite will get the Chewbacca skin for just the price of the pass. One user on Reddit tagged it the ''Reading Tax'' while another user feels that this mode will bring this game ''down a notch''.
