GTA 6 Is ‘Extraordinary’, ‘Awesome’ And ‘Expected’, Says Top Boss In New Interview

It’s impossible to interview anyone with any possible connection to GTA 6 and not ask them about it especially when it’s someone running the ship. The chief executive at Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, did an interview where he was naturally asked about the most anticipated video game of all time.

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take Two, took time to be interviewed by the creator of TikTok Conner Mather who pretends to be an NPC in his videos online. This led the content creator to interview one of the top executives in the video game industry.

Mather’s first GTA-related question to CEO Strauss Zelnick was “Do you think there’s any chance of getting a lookalike (of himself), a redheaded NPC in GTA 6?”. Strauss responded with “Almost certainly not” he said with a laugh.

GTA 6 Summarized

Conner followed this up by admitting that Strauss can’t talk much at all about GTA 6. That being said, he did have a second question and that was “If you could sum it up in a few words or one word, what would you say?” The CEO’s response to this was “I would say I think it will be extraordinary and worth waiting for.”

After some questions about GTA Online, GTA fans and trolls, which you can read here, Conner went back to GTA VI. The question he posed to Zelnick was “is there anything that excites you the most about GTA 6?” To which the CEO responded with “Exactly what I said earlier it will be amazing.” Also, Strauss tells Mather that he’s seen some of the “We got … before GTA 6” memes online.

In every interview Zelnick does, he is asked about GTA VI but has remained firm and usually tells people that Rockstar needs to talk. That said, in the past 12 months, the only people talking about GTA 6 officially were Zelnick and Take-Two. Not even Rockstar themselves said it would come out in Fall 2025, but rather their parent company did.
