GTA 6 News Watch: Take-Two Interactive’s Upcoming Earnings Call Revealed
Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive has announced when their Q1 2025 quarterly earnings report and presentation will take place. The four-times-a-year event led by CEO Strauss Zelnick discusses the success of Rockstar Games’ titles over three months.
In the most recent earnings report, Take-Two Interactive revealed that Rockstar Games has “narrowed” GTA VI’s release window from 2025 to Fall 2025. Additionally, the company shared that GTA VI has now sold over 200 million copies since launch .
Take-Two shared details of the upcoming earnings report with Business wire Thursday. The financial reports will be published after the stock market closes Thursday August 8th and the call with investors will take place at je 4:30pm Eastern Time on the same day. This date is not unusual and was expected.
What to expect from the report
Many fans speculate before Take-Two Interactive’s quarterly report that GTA VI will receive big news. Although we got the last time of Fall 2025, it is not likely that we will get anything like the second trailer or screenshots for this report.
Investors are very interested in GTA VI and usually ask the CEO questions about it, so expect more of those. Sometimes, CEO Strauss Zelnick will give curious answers to GTA questions. If there are, we will cover them in an article on this site.
Other things to wait for updates are the decrease in income from GTA Online but also an increase in GTA+. In the past few calls, Take-Two said they’ve seen a big bump in GTA Online players for over 10 years but still expect a drop as GTA VI approaches.
However, there is a chance that GTA Online will not see a drop yet. In June, the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC released helped GTA V become the most downloaded PS5 game in June. It has also been a big seller across Europe for the past two months.
On top of that, GTA+ has seen continued growth over the past year. Take-Two likes to point this out. Red Dead Redemption will also receive updates at this quarterly event. The second game of the franchise continues to sell around a million copies every month, which is a lot for an almost 6-year-old game.
