The Colossal Squid is one of the most sought after and challenging fish to catch in Roblox Fisch. The main reason for this is due to their low rarity and the ability to resist being captured for a long period. So, to overcome these difficulties, I made a list of strategies and techniques to catch a Colossal Squid at any time in the game.
Colossal Squid Catching Guide – Fisch
Below, I have listed a set of 5 strategies for you to implement and catch the Colossal Squid easily in the game. I have explained everything from the type of bait to the time you try to catch the fish, making the process much simpler.
Place
The best place to catch a Colossal Squid in Roblox Fisch is inside a small cave on Snowcap Island. You can locate this cave right at the entrance of the Island to the left side. Enter this cave, and you can start fishing for the Colossal Squid by standing on the first iceberg you see here. Also, traveling to Snowcap Island requires you to have a boat. So, unlock the feature.
Time and Weather
Colossal Squid usually spawns in Fisch during the night time, especially in foggy conditions So, make sure you meet these criteria before you go to Snowcap Island. Remember, you can try fishing for the Colossal Squid at other times as well, but the rate of catching one is very, very low compared to the ones mentioned.
Rod Types
For the Wands, my two main recommended types are Standing Wand and Night Staff. Both of these rods are great for their high luck factor, durability and catch weight. You can buy the Steady Rod for C$7000 in Roslit and the Night Rod for C$11,000 at Vertigo.
Speaking of the Spells, something like the Scrapper would be the best because it gives you a 60% chance for the fish not to consume the bait.
Lures
Unlike most fish species, the Colossal Squid does not have a favorite bait to quickly lure the fish. This does not mean that you can attach any basic bait you like to the rod to get the Colossal Squid. Instead, use something like the Night Prawns, Strange Actsor Superior Flakeswhich has a very high universal luck factor, increasing your chance of swinging/spawning a Colossal Squid in the game.
