How to choose new animals for your Zoo in BitLife
If you want many visitors to your Zoo, you must regularly introduce new and exotic animals. While adding new animals may sound simple, you have to think and apply a lot of strategies to choose the right animal and increase your profit numbers in the game.
How to get new animals for your Zoo in BitLife
Instead of getting random animals to your Zoo, you should make an addition based on the current demands of the visitors and the popularity of the animals. To know this, click on the Business Post option from your Zoo’s Activity tab. Here you will find a list of animals available for trading/purchase and animals required by other wildlife sanctuaries.
Now choose only those animals that have a very high popularity rating or have a rare tag next to them. These animals may cost a fortune, but they will eventually bring many visitors to your Zoo and increase your profit margins. So, look for such animals and try to get them in pairs so that they can mate and produce more offspring for your Zoo.
During my run, I found the extremely rare female Basilisk on the list and bought it for my Zoo. Being a rare animal, it brought a lot of attraction and popularity for my Zoo, increasing my profit margins by a significant amount. The only sad part is that I did not find any partner for my snake to mate and produce offspring.
When buying animals, another important thing to keep in mind is the habitats or the biomes. Not every animal can live in your current sanctuary, and you have to build specific habitats even to buy them in the first place. You can find the list of all animal types and their habitats below.
Habitats/Biome | Animal Type |
rain forest | Snakes, Alligators, Chameleon |
Savannah | Zebra, Jaguar, Hippopotamus, Meerkat |
Reptile Room | Monkeys, Lemurs, Jaguar |
joint | Reindeer |
If you bring such highly popular and in-demand creatures to your Zoo, your popularity will soar, and you will become the best Zookeeper in BitLife.
