I got killed by those Statues quite a few times until I could figure out how they work and where to go. Here's how to defeat Spider Statues in Kill It With Fire 2's Artois Manor, along with maps of the floors so you don't get lost!
How to complete the Marble Monsters Objective in Kill It With Fire 2
There are a lot of fun challenges you can complete in the game, but I definitely enjoyed the Spider Statue challenges the most. It is three in total, one each floor of the Artois Manor map. To complete this challenge, you must keep looking at the statue. You can look away for a brief second, but take too long and the statue will kill you. This is basically a game of red light green light. I spin under normal circumstances, let alone when I'm being chased by a murderous statue. That's why I'm adding a map here so that both you and I don't get lost in the future.
How to defeat the Corridor Spider Statue
The first one you will encounter is the Corridor Spider Statue and the Hide and Seek challenge. Once you interact with the statue (1), you will need to slowly walk backwards and blow out three skull candles. I would go for the far left one (2) first, then go back and take the other two.
Don't worry, the Statue won't catch you in a corridor, you can still pass it. Just keep looking at it and keep your distance, just in case.
How to defeat the Basement Spider Statue
There will be many dead ends in the basement and you will have to backtrack a lot. I would collect the three skull candles on the left first, before going back to the one near the basement stairs. Just follow the map and you should be good. Don't take too much time, though, or you'll run out and have to redo it. Keep a steady pace as you go.
How to defeat the Attic Spider Statue
Despite there being most candles put out in the attic, this was the easiest for me. There are not many corners, the space is open so you can't get stuck and the candles are close to each other. Once you complete this challenge, you will also complete the Manor Monsters objective. One step closer to full completion!
