Until the End of the World is a Genshin Impact World Quest set in Simulanka. You must face a dragon named Durin, whose roots trace back to the Hexenzirkel. The battle doesn’t involve actual battles, so you have to rely on Simulanka’s unique mechanics to defeat the dragon.
Genshin Impact Until the End of the World dragon battle guide
When starting the battle sequence, you will be forced to use trial characters. You can freely consume food to heal and revive, so don’t worry about your team not having a healer or shield! In the first phase, you cannot do any damage to the dragonas simple as that avoid all projectiles prevent death This segment is an endurance fight and will end after dodging the attacks for about a minute.
After the endurance battle, a cutscene and flashback will trigger. Once done, go to the elevator up the stairs and attack the device with Normal Attacks until you reach the window you need to go through to enter the next stage.
Then, follow the path to the castle-like entrance with the help of the floating bridge and floating blocks.
As soon as you enter the castle, take the toy bomb using the special interactive key.
Turn right and go up the stairs, then place the toy bomb in its designated place on the luditani block. The block will immediately explode, revealing a socket where you can slip into an Oracle Pillar.
Take the Oracle Pillar on the table using the special interactive key, so place it in its designated position on the ground using the Normal Attack button to make it usable.
Once it’s cracked on the ground, use the special interactive key to connect the Oracle Pillar to a higher platform, therefore to relate with it to fly along the Magic Thread.
Once you’ve reached the top platform, don’t forget to claim the Common Chest next to the guard on the right. After that, go up the stairs to find a key Tender Breast. Enemies will appear when you get close to it, so defeat the enemies to unlock the Chest.
After defeating the enemies, go further up the stairs to enter a clearing, then go up three more steps to face the dragon.
When the dragon sees you, it will fly up, so continue up a few more stairs until the dragon reappears. In this segment, you must avoid projectiles while running closer to the purple mist. Your goal is to get as close to the dragon as possible to trigger the next segment. Note that you cannot attack it at this stage.
Once you have entered the purple mist, the scenery will change. Climb up the platform with the help of the jump block.
Since the dragon has broken a segment of the bridge, use the special interactive key to pull out a bouncy block, then use it to get to the other side.
You need take the Oracle Pillar behind the boxes using the special interactive key. Next, place it on the plug at the edge of the platform to make the Pillar usable. Once it’s in place, use the special interaction key to connect the Oracle Pillar to an even higher platform, then interact with it to fly down the Magic Thread.
From there, go up the stairs and enter the purple mist to enter another fight sequence against the dragon.
You can’t defeat the dragon from this distance, so go right and use the jump blocks to reach the wooden platform. Be careful as projectiles will be thrown your way as you jump down the blocks.
The dragon will keep throwing projectiles, so try to avoid them as much as possible. Your goal is take the toy bomb on the block, and then throw it into the dragon’s mouth. To do that, wait for the dragon to open its mouthso press and hold the Normal Attack button to aim inside the mouth. Release to throw the bomb and force the dragon to fall. If you fail, you can try again.
When the dragon is gone, go to the broken path and jump onto the higher clearing with the help of the jump blocks. Bullets will keep coming in this stage, so try to avoid them.
Upon entering the clearing, you’ll trigger a mini-game that involves dodging projectiles in a bird’s eye view.
After the mini-game, the dragon will reappear. Climb the crates on the right using the ladders, then use the bouncing block to reach the upper platform. You can’t climb the crates without using the designated ladders, so be sure to use them! The dragon will also try to step on you as you climb up, but you can easily avoid getting hurt avoiding the red indicators on the ground.
When you reach the platform, don’t forget to claim the Tender Breast. When you’re ready, continue forward to enter the final battle segment against the dragon.
The dragon will first bombard you with attacks all at once: throwing projectiles, stomping and slashing its claw. Avoid the projectiles and red indicators on the ground to avoid getting hit!
After a few minutes, a toy bomb will appear on the right side of the clearing. Take it with the special interactive key and throw it into the dragon’s mouth. As before, wait until the dragon opens its mouth, then press and hold to aim, and release to throw the toy bomb. Bullets can block your path and cause your throw to fail, but you can try again. If you succeed, the dragon will be defeated, and you can continue with the rest of the quest.
