Three Space Friends is more than I expected from Palworld. If you’re wondering how to get these surprising additions to the game, here’s how to find and capture the Space Friends in Palworld.
Where to get the Palworld Space Friends
Palworld introduced Space Pals with the Sakurajima update, but the big question is, where can you find them? You can get all three of the Palworld Space Pals only during Meteor events. These are events that occur every few hours in the game that will either cause a Supply or a Meteor Drop.
In the case of a Supply Drop, you’ll just get a Supply Crate surrounded by enemy officers that you have to fight. However, when Meteor falls, you’ll also fight (and capture) Space friends Xenovander, Xenogard, and Selyne.
The events happen near wherever you are, and you can track them using the meteor symbol on your map and UI. However, which Space Pal you meet depends on where you are.
How to find and capture Xenovander
Xenovander is the weakest Friend of the bunch. This Dark Buddy is usually around level 22, so you shouldn’t have much trouble fighting it. I propose to bring a Dragon-type Friendly like Jet Dragon defeat them, because you can also quickly travel long distances with it. This Friend has relatively average Job Skills; there are definitely better Friends for both categories.

If you want to collect Meteor Fragments for your Meteor Launcher then you should definitely bring a Xenovander as it boosts the drop. It too strengthens the drop of other ores, which is quite useful.
How to find and capture Xenogard
Xenogard is a Dragon Pal that will appear at the Meteor event in the Parched Desert or the Astral Mountains. So, if you are looking to get this Friend, make sure you visit one of these islands in time.
Because this is a Dragon-type Honey, you need to bring a team of Ice friends with you (Mammorest Cryst, Chillet, Foxcicle, and Frostallion). Xenogard spawns as an Alpha Pal, so it will be quite high level usually. Bring an Assault Rifle or a Rocket Launcher with you, just in case.
Xenogard’s Workability is Mining level 3, which can certainly be useful at the base when you are farming for all the different ore. In a team, this friend can be used as mountainand it will also increase your chances of finding Meteor fragments and ore.
How to find and capture Selyne
Selyne is the Space Buddy that can only be found on the Sakurajima island. If you are looking to get this Darkness and Neutral type Pal, then I suggest hanging out at your base for a few hours or just exploring Sakurajima until you get the meteor notification. I had to spend so much time in base to get it.
Since it is a Dark and Neutral type, you should bring Dragon and Dark type Comrades fight it out. As a combination of both, Astegon should be your first choice for a party member. You should also make sure to come equipped with good weapons, an Assault Rifle at least, although I do prefer to bring a Rocket Launcher too.

Selyne has a good combination of Job Abilities that can be very useful in the base. However, I prefer her in a team like mountain (although I still mostly use Jetrag).
