While you will eventually meet most searches in Rune Slayer, some are hidden in secret parts of the map and you need to dig up these places to start the mission. One such challenge is the lost party search and its goal of winning the Rat King, and here’s a detailed post on how to find both.
Lost Party Search and Rat King location guide -Rune Slayer
To find the leader Rat King and the promoter for the lost party search, you must visit The rat cavity And talk to the stationary NPCs there. The RAT cavity is located deep within the Pinewood densities And below is a step by step to reach this cave. First you need Lantern explore the dark cave. It can be obtained as a reward by completing the Mandrake Menace Quest at Ali’s farm in Wayshire.
How to get to the rat pit
- Get out of the south gate of Wayshire. This entry/exit is located right by the inn, which is your main freight point in Rune Slayer (see the first image above).
- Then follow the compass on the top and continue to walk in the Southwest direction. You will find various creatures within pinewood densities, including wild boar, bears and wolves. But it is entirely to you, whether to fight, tame or avoid them.
- Eventually, you will run into a hill with a large cave entry as shown in the third image above. This is not the cave we are looking for. Instead, hug the hill and walk in the west direction as indicated by the arrow marker.
- You will find an animal there that will attack you, but you can easily escape it and get it to the other end.
- At the corner, there will be very little opening This leads to the rat -cavity (see fifth image).
- To enter the cave, you must Sprint and slide into the opening (Double -click W Then press CTRL).
How to start the lost festive search
Sometime in the Rat Cava in Rune Slayer, light up your lantern Pressing H on the keyboard so you can see clearly. Navigating the cave is pretty easy, just Beware of the rats who may bite and affect minimal damage to you. Walk down the narrow passage, turn left and jump over the wall.
Eventually you will reach the place where I am in the image above. While the left arrow indicates the way to the rat -king, I need you to go ahead first where the other arrows. Jump over the wall and you will find Two distressed NPCs – Kevin and Yuri – resting in the corner (see second picture above). Talk to the researchers and they will assign to you the lost festive search.
How to reach the rat king
Do you remember the first arrow we talked about recently? Jump back over the wall and go to that place that must be to the right. Collect the moss to reveal an openness with which you can slide to enter (first picture above). Walk down the narrow passage and jump over the wall on the right when you see the opening indicated in the second image. Within this cave, you will find the boss Rat King, which you can win, if you have prepared well and have a level character with some good weapons.
