Bungie has confirmed from their end that there is an ongoing issue related to 3D audio for PC gamers, and they work tirelessly on the problem to fix the problem from their end. Meanwhile, they suggested that all PC gamers who are unable to listen to any audio should turn off theirs Spatial Sound Settings from the Windows settings. If you don’t know how to do that, just follow the given steps.

  • click on Windowsand select the Settings (System) option
  • Inside the Settings Window, go to the sound section
  • Now, you will find the Sound Control Panel on the far right side of the screen.
  • In the list of Reproduction devices, select the device that plays audio on your computer. For me, it was my speakers and headphones.
  • Select the device and press the Properties button on the window.
  • In the Properties window, go to the Department of Spatial Sound and turn it off.

Now you’ll be able to hear audio in Destiny 2 and continue playing the new DLC without worry. After Bungie has fixed an update, you can go back to your original 3D Audio usage settings.
