Other Disney Dreamlight Valley Update 12 themes
Update 12 is the Tiana update that happened on August 21st, 2024. Unfortunately, Startup Error #6 isn’t the only issue players are having – it’s just one that’s happened over the past two years, with growing number of players. posting about it on Reddit, Twitter and Facebook.
Other known issues that came with the Dapper Delights update are:
- Tiana disappeared from the valleys of players shortly after being unlocked.
- The glide/surf key binding has changed without players changing it. At Switch, for example, it’s usually B. Currently, it’s ZL. It’s possible that this was a purposeful change, but there was no advance warning if it was and players aren’t happy about it.
- Villagers’ houses have moved.
- Houses don’t fit where they used to after being moved after an upgrade.
- Players’ Touch of Magic clothing has changed (designs on the piece have moved slightly).
- Cloud Save conflict errors.
- Game crashes.
- Opening the memory in Remy’s restaurant crashes the game – this is needed to unlock Tiana.
- Villagers get stuck in various places.
- The mailbox does not show gifts or new mail.
It’s not unusual for Disney Dreamlight Valley to have some issues after an update, but this is ridiculous. GameLoft’s silence since the announcement that they are “looking into it” doesn’t fill anyone with confidence either.
The DDV team had many complaints from players. Beyond this incident, the most recent set of complaints came when the devs requested “quality of life improvements” from the player base.
