How to get Coup-En in Zenless Zone Zero

Coup-En is an important gacha currency used to pull for Zenless Zone Zero’s Bangboo army—adorable gadgets used to aid you in Hollow exploration. Since the final beta, they are completely free and cannot be purchased with real money. Here are all the ways you can collect Coup-En in ZZZ.

Spray Paint Swap

Sant is located in the back alley of Sixth Street and is ready to take all your Spray Paints for rewards, including Coup-Ens, Dennies, Bangboo System Widgets, Master Tapes and other amazing assets. Spray paints can be obtained by completing all kinds of Commissions on the Inter-Node, so you will naturally collect a lot of them as you play.

New Eridu City Fund

The New Eridu City Fund is ZZZ’s take on the essential battle pass. Both the free Basic Plan and the paid Growth Plan will offer Coup Ens as rewards for certain levels. You can get about five by upgrading with the Basic Plan, assuming you max out all of Eridu’s New City Fund.

In-Nies Exchange

You can buy five Coup-Ens using En-Nies in the Signal Shop. En-Nies are currencies you get every time you draw from the Bangboo banner. The rates are as follows:

  • S rank – 50 En-Nies
  • A rank – 10 En-Nies
  • B rank – two En-Nies

Rally Committees

The Rally Commission is a combat-focused game mode where you will be thrown into a Hollow area to defeat waves of enemies. There is no Hollow exploration involved, but you must move around the area to find the next group of enemies, collect items to heal your team, and enter Rifts to trigger special events. There are several stages of Rally Commissions, and completing each one the first time will reward you with a Coup.

Hollow Zero

Hollow Zero is a rogue-like game mode similar to Honkai: The Simulation Universe from Star Rail. When entering the special Hollow, you must work around Corruptions (deteriorations), choose and fuse special Resonia to strengthen your team, and power through random encounters until you reach the end of the Hollow. Completing a Hollow Zero stage for the first time will reward you with a Coup-En.

Additionally, completing Hollow Zero stages will reward you with Research Points, which will increase your License level (accessible via the bottom left of the Hollow Zero screen). Reaching certain level milestones will reward you with an additional Coup Eo. Since you can only get up to 5,000 Research Points per week, I suggest prioritizing Hollow Zero in your weekly journals to quickly increase your License levels.
