Aside from the Face of Justice, one of the hardest Prism Shards to get in Destiny 2 Final Form is the Facet of Command. If you don’t know how to get this Fragment or the location of the Split Prism Chest, here is a dedicated guide explaining the whole process.
Where is the Split Prism Chest in Destiny 2?
Like most shards, the Facet of Command shard is locked inside a chest called a Divided Prismatic Chest, located within a bunker-like area in the Divide POI west of the No Pass Landmark. Use the map image above for a pictorial reference of the area. I recommend Landing at the Impasso and traveling on foot or using a vehicle from there.
How to solve the Split Prism Key Puzzle in Destiny 2
As usual, to open the Split Prism chest, you need to get the Split Prism Key. This requires you to solve a small puzzle that revolves around charging a reactor using Arc Charge and defeating the Subjugator of Control mini-boss. It may sound like a daunting task, but I will explain it slowly one by one.
First, look at the chest and turn around 180° behind your back to find a small broken grid-like wall. Jump inside to find a machine that spawns A magic cannon. Interact with it to get the cannon which you can use to blow all the frozen parts in the same room as shown in the picture.
After shooting for a while, you’ll get a Regular, Void, or Solar Arc Charge randomly from those ice cubes. Collect it and deposit it inside the Arc Reactor in the same room to charge it.
Now, take your old cannon or create a new one from the same machine and exit the room to find the entire bunker frozen. Keep breaking these cubes to get the Charge randomly and fill the Arc Reactor.
Once the first reactor is filled, you’ll find another Arc Reactor right next to it. Fill it using the same method. Explore the bunker to find ice cubes and blast them to get the Bows.
After filling both Arc Reactors, the Split Prism Boss called Subjugador of Control will appear in the center. It’s a simple boss, and you can easily defeat him by spamming with any weapons/skills of your choice. The trick here is to use the various covers around the bunker and top fire when needed. I used Sunshot, Apex Predator, and Call weapons to complete the entire battle as a Wizard.
After he dies, he will drop the Split Prism Key, which will then be used to open the chest to get the Facet of Command in Destiny 2.
