The Slap Battles glove collection continues to evolve with the release of Frostbite Glove. However, as always, many players find it difficult to unlock it, so I will walk you through the complete steps to get Frostbite Glove in Slap Battles.
How to unlock Frostbite Glove and Ice Essence badge in Slap Battles
You can get the Frostbite Glove by winning the Badge of Ice Essence in Roblox Slap Battles. To unlock the Ice Essence badge, you will need to be hit by a player who already owns the Freezing glove while you are covered with a block of ice and has the Shard glove equipped (more on all of that below). When a Frostbite glove user hits you, you'll be teleported to the ice trials challenge, which is basically Squid Games' Hopscotch challenge.
In this challenge, you will have to cross a long bridge consisting of two glass squares at each step. However, only one of them can support your character's weight, which means if you step on the wrong glass, you will die.
I only got one attempt to complete the Ice Trials challenge, which meant I had to go through the same process again when I was eliminated in the final stage. After I successfully completed the ice trials challenge, Slap Battles finally rewarded me with the Frostbite Glove as well as the Ice Essence badge.
Here's a quick rundown of the entire process to unlock Frostbite Glove in Slap battles:
- Find someone who already owns Frostbite and Ice Glove.
- Equip the Shards glove from the spawn area.
- Ask your friend to hit with the Ice Glove first and then with the Frostbite glove.
- You will be teleported to the Ice Trials challenge.
- Complete the challenge to unlock the Ice Essence badge and Frostbite Glove.

Frostbite Glove stats
Here's a quick overview of Frostbite Gloves stats in Slap Battles:
- Power: 56
- speed: 15
- Passive ability (E): ice age
The Ice Age skill freezes the nearby players and you can slap them for as long as the Ice Age effect lasts. However, I've found that one hit from a powerful glove user like Bull can take out the trapped player instantly. So be sure to use that to your advantage.
How to get trapped inside an Ice Block in Slap Battles
To become trapped inside an Ice Block, you will need to find a player who already owns the Ice Glove, which costs. 7,500 slaps in Slap Battles. Next, have the user hit with the Ice glove's passive ability called Freeze, which will eventually trap you inside the ice block for three seconds.
How to get Shard gloves in Slap Battles
The Shard glove can be obtained by winning the Fireman's badge, which tasks you with taking out OVERKILL users five times in less than a minute without dying. The best way to complete all of the aforementioned challenges is by jumping into a Slap Battles private server and coordinating with other players using the in-game Roblox chat.
