How to get more points in Deff Rally – Speed Freeks
Deff Rally is a main game mode in Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks in which two teams participate in a death race capturing different objectives to score points; the team with the highest score by the end of the match wins. Here is a guide on how you can earn more points in Deff Rally to ensure victory for your team.
How to score more points in Deff Rally mode – Speed Freeks
In Deff Rally, four capture points will appear one after the other for a short period. A capture point is marked with a skull icon on your screen and projects a glowing green light. As you can see in the image above, the capture point is held by the enemy team, hence the red skull indicator. When a capture point appears, run to it and capture it before the enemies to score 30 points instantly.
While the capture point is under your team’s control (see the image above), you will receive 15 points for each enemy vehicle destroyed (also known as ‘crumpled’), as mentioned in the game). Eliminating enemies while you haven’t captured the point will only reward you with 10 points. Therefore, I highly recommend playing strategically with your team to occupy the capture point while getting kills for maximum points.
Fighting the opponents right at the capture point is also a good idea, as you can see in the image above, but you will be more exposed, and respawned enemies can easily ambush and corner you. Which team the capture point belongs to depends on how many vehicles from that team are in the pit. So, I will say again that teamwork is important to earn more points and win the match in the Deff Rally mode.
As soon as the new capture point appears, rush to it, because the first team to occupy the objective will get 30 points, which is a huge gain. Once all four capture points have appeared, the final stage of the match will ask you to race to the finish line (see image above). Even if you have less points than the opponents now, don’t give up and go to the finish line as fast as possible to get more points.
