Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has some of the toughest bosses in the game, one of which is Rakshasa. This guide is here to help you find and defeat him.
Where to find Rakshasa in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree (Location)
To find a Rakshasa, go to the Shadow Keep (1)and from there, travel to Castle Watering Hole (2)River of Reclues Upstream (3)and lastly, the Reclues’ River Downstream (4) place of grace (in that order). Then, when you are at this place of grace, go north until you see some glowing tombs, where you can go by traveling from the right side.
On the left side of these tombs, you will see a platform with gold glitter indicators. Jump down there and then to the platform lower than the one with the same gold indicator. Keep using these platforms to jump down until you reach all the way down. Now, follow the river flow east to reach the end of the river, and on the left will be a Rakshasa.

To get the Rakshasa’s Great Katana and Armor Set, you must defeat a Rakshasa. When you finally reach his location, call other players, or summon if you are playing offline to help you. After that, equip your best weapons that can handle medium range attacks with good damage; a good choice is the Dragon Slayer Katana. All of Rakshasa’s attacks have a short range and a good amount of recovery that you have to use to deal killing blows.
To defeat him, create some distance between you and him and then deal with your best mid-range. Sometimes, he might hit you, in which case, heal yourself quickly and then keep repeating the process until you get rid of him. When you do this, you will receive the Rakshasa’s Great Katana and Armor.

Rakshasa’s Great Katana boasts insane damage with charged attacks and combined with its good base damage, it can help you deal with any boss in the game. Additionally, you can use any seal to increase the damage even more.
Then we have the Rakshasa’s Armor, which increases damage dealt and received, making it a great build if you’re good at dodging enemy attacks. The sword and armor combined with other damage buffing items can set you up to deal massive damage to any enemy in the game.
