Getting access to the True Zangetsu in Reaper 2 can be a challenge, especially since you have to get two hard items already. However, our guide is here to help you on your journey to obtain the True Zangetsue, and to understand what abilities it can offer.
Where To Find The Real Zangetsu In Reaper 2
Before you can gain access to the True Zangetsu, you must already have the Zangetsu and the Wizard. The Zangetsu is a Shikai that has high damage and speed abilities in its bankai form. It has 1% opportunity to be obtained. The Vizard is obtained by killing Kisuke Urahara, which is located on the mountain near the Acid Hollows. However, you can only gain access to the Vizard if you are on Prestige 3.
Once you have both, talk to Kisuke in his cabin, which is located in the Frozen Mountains. He will transport you to the Royal Palace.
The First Attempt
Upon arriving at the Royal Palace, talk to Ōetsu, who will transport you to the first trial you will need to take to obtain the True Zangetsu. For the test, you have to participate in a battle. To make the chances of winning easier, make sure you use skills that deal a lot of damage. After completing the test, go back to Ōetsu and talk to him. He will tell you to talk to the Gatekeeper, who will transport you to the second trial.
The Second Attempt
After being transported by The Gatekeeper, the second trial will begin. This test is called The Footpath, and it requires speed and precision. On the screen, various letters will appear, and you will have to press the correct letters on your keyboard when they appear on the screen. If one mistake is made, the attempt will end and you will have to start again. Once this trial is completed, you will receive the True Zangetsu skill.
What True Zangetsu does in Reaper 2
Once both trials are completed and you have the True Zangetsu, you unlock its power. It comes with three capabilities: Dash Forward, Cross slashand Getsuga Juujisho. The Getsuga Juujisho has two variants; one is given after you have obtained the True Zangetsu, and the other variant requires you to have The Keep Standing buff.
