The Sunken Rod was launched with the Forsaken Shores expansion which was released on November 9, 2024. With its unique passive effect, getting this legendary rod can be a game changer for your fishing adventures, significantly increasing your chances of finding rare items. Here’s a guide on how to get your hands on the Sunken Rod in Fisch:
Sunken Rod location in Fisch on Roblox
The first step to getting a Sunken Fishing Rod is to reel Treasure Map. You can fish for these maps anywhere in Fisch, but it is natural to assume that they would be more common on the Forsaken Shore, due to its connection to treasure hunting.
However, don’t be surprised if your initial attempts don’t yield quick results – my own experience involved catching about 70 fish on the Forsaken Shore before I decided to try my luck elsewhere.
Amazingly, I managed to grab a treasure map at Moosewood after only four attempts, so if you’re struggling, consider changing locations.
Buy a GPS
Once you have your Treasure Map, you’ll notice that it only provides one of the three GPS coordinates needed to locate your treasure. This is where a GPS device comes in handy. If you don’t already own one, you can buy GPS from the pond in Moosewood for C$100. The GPS is essential to help you pinpoint the location of your treasure chest. If you’re struggling to find it, the coordinates are (513, 150, 288).
Fix your Treasure Map
The next stop is the Forsaken Shorewhere you will have to climb to the left side of the island near the skull.
Climb two sets of laddersso cross the green flat to drop down into the left eye of the skull.
Here, you’ll meet Jack Marrow – a witty nod to a well-known pirate name. Jack Marrow offers to fix your incomplete map for 250 C$.
Helpful tip here: to fix your Jack map, you must have your map open on your screen. This can make it difficult to see the dialog prompt, so be prepared to maneuver your screen or character to keep the dialog option visible.
After Jack fixes your map, you will have the full set of coordinates it is necessary to find your treasure.
Finding your Treasure Chest (Sunken Rod location)
Now that your map is complete, set up sail to the coordinates marked on the map. The location of your treasure chest could be on land or underwater, so refer to your GPS to narrow down the search area.
My first treasure chest was located just under the water near the Bait Crate vendor on Moosewood. Be ready to dive in if necessary, because chests can be hidden under the waves.
Opening a treasure chest does not guarantee you’ll find a Sunken Rod inside. However, it is the only method to obtain the stick, so persistence is key. If luck is not on your side at first, you will have to keep looking and fish for more Treasure Maps until you find a Treasure Chest with a Sunken Staff inside.
Sunken Rod Stats and Passive Effect in Fisch on Roblox
Once you discover the Sunken Staff, its stats are worth the effort:
- Lure Speed: +20%
- good luck: +150%
- Control: 0.15
- Endurance: 0%
- Maximum kg: 5000 kg
The Sunken Wand comes with a great passive effect that relates to the treasure hunting you can enjoy in Fisch:
Every time you catch 10 fish or items, you will get a 25% higher chance of swinging in a Treasure Map. This bonus makes it easier to get the rare items from Treasure Chests, as you will be able to find more of them with extra Treasure Maps.
