How to get The Yamato Mythic weapon in Type Soul

Choosing different races, styles, moves and weapons can sometimes be overwhelming. That’s why I wanted to get my hands on probably the best Mythic universal weapon in Type Soul. Here’s how to get the Yamato sword in Type Soul.

Where to get The Yamato Mythical in Type Soul

You can get the Yamato weapon through Clan Wars where you will see it as a dimensional shard. You can also use a Type Soul trade to get it if there is a player offering it. Keep in mind that although everyone can use this sword, critical attacks differ depending on which race uses it. You may want to learn more about reviews for each race before investing in one.

How The Yamato critics work for each race in Type Soul

While each race gets the same M1 attack (that’s faster than Dagger!) from Yamato, special attacks (criticals) are different.

  • Start crit will hit enemies once and knock them away, which is a good tactical maneuver, especially if you want to create distance between you and your opponent. You should definitely combine the Yamato with some of the best Arrancar builds in Type Soul.

  • Soulreaper crit deals multiple quick attacks, knocking the enemy down with the last blow. In Bankai, the attack remained the same.

  • Quincy criticism deals damage around you but can easily be blocked. Although it can be useful in some situations, it is not as effective in one-on-one combat. Developers recognized that this version was the weakest, so they strengthened its attack shortly after the initial release. But even with better damage output, it’s still the worst option out of three.

How to equip The Yamato Mythic weapon in Type Soul

No matter what breed you choose, to use the Yamato weapon, you must invest 50 points in Speed. I recommend that you try to combine its attack with other abilities, because some that sound good in theory don’t work well. The main reason is the attack animation, which prevents you from doing quick combos. This is perhaps on purpose to avoid the Yamato being too dominant.

Now that you know how to get the Yamato Mythical weapon, take a look at how it ranks against some of the best shikai weapons in Type Soul.
