In Update 4.2, the developers completely reworked the Umbra stand and made it more viable in combat scenarios. Along with rewriting, the developers also changed the procedure by which the ability is obtained. So, here is a detailed guide on getting Umbra and its Kit in AUT.
Umbra Stand Unlock Guide – AUT
Getting the Umbra Stand is a long and tedious process that involves many steps. I have simplified each of them below. Just follow the given methods, and you’ll be good to go.
- Meet an Umbra NPC: First, you must meet the Umbra NPC in the Floating Village (recommended level 90). You can reach the Floating Village by going through the waterfall/bridge in the northwest part of the map. Here, you’ll find him at the northern end of town, as shown in the image above. Talk to him, and he’ll ask you to complete some missions that revolve around defeating Skibidi Cult Members and Sword Disciples. All of these are simple, straightforward quests that can be completed if you have decent standing and are above at least level 75.
- Item Requirements: After completing his quests, he will ask you to collect the following materials/items in the game to create the Chapter of Sovereigns.

3. Defeat Skibidi Noobie and The Sovereign: After you have created the item, he will ask you to remove the two mentioned bosses. For the Skibidi Noobie, you require 300k Ucoins an.d 3 Stories of the Universe for Spawning, while The Sovereign boss is near the glass throne at the Boss Spawn Arena area.
4. Getting Umbra: After defeating both bosses, you will receive a new item called New Tale, which can be combined with the Sovereign Chapter to get the The Ruler’s Sword. Just use this Sword with Standless spec to get the Umbra!
