The reworked Umbra is extremely powerful in Universal Time, and to take it to the next level, you must earn its mastery to unlock newer moves. However, getting Umbra Mastery is unlike mastering the other fighting styles, therefore, in this guide, I will teach you how to get it in AUT.
How to win a Umbra Masters in AUT
To obtain Shadow Mastery in Universal Time, you must defeat a boss named The Sovereign. The criteria for defeating this boss is that you must deal at least 10% damage when fighting him with other players, which guarantees you get 25 to 50 Umbra Mastery points.
Defeating The Sovereign is part of the grind for getting Umbra, but if you forgot his location, then he spawns at the boss spawning area in Realm of the Forgotten every 30 minutes. To get there, you have to head to the soccer field to the left of the city center, where you have the waterfall.
Once you are there, go to the left side and climb the mountains where you will see a cave. Inside the cave, use the Sword to teleport to the Realm of the Forgotten and here, you’ll see the area where bosses spawn. If The Sovereign boss is there, do 10% damage and defeat him to get Shadow Mastery.
All levels and unlocks of Umbra Mastery
To unlock mastery levels 1 to 5, you will need to get 100 Umbra Mastery points for each level and from levels 5 to 12, you will need 200 mastery points for each level. This is what each mastery level will get you.
