Downloading supplies and resources such as Wood and Ores is essential to the gameplay of 7 Days To Die. Wood is the most basic of materials that can be used to create other complex items such as weapons, tools, traps, construction tools, etc. Wood Log is another useful resource and here’s how to get it in 7 Days To Die.
How to get Wood Log in 7 Days To Die
Unlike Wood, which can be directly harvested from the source or scavenged, Wood Logs must be crafted. Open the Craftsmanship menu by pressing Tab on your keyboard. In the search window, type Wood Log to bring up the item (see the image above for reference). If you have 10 Wood in your inventory, click the Craft button to craft one Log in two seconds. You can get wood by cutting down bushes and trees, picking it up from tables and chairs, or scavenging loot in the world.
Wood Log is a niche item with limited uses; for example, it is one of the items needed to create a Forge (see image above). A forge is a workstation that you can use to craft powerful weapons, tools, ammunition, armor, and other items. Wood Log can also be used as an efficient burnable fuel in campfires because it burns much longer than regular Wood or Plank (ie, for 8 minutes 20 seconds).
